+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: In this video, I'm going to share a tip with you that could really skyrocket your business by helping you to retain existing customers. So the tip is consistency. There are many salespeople out there and small businesses who are inconsistent. I mean, think about it. When's the last time you went to a place that you like and got inconsistent service or inconsistent product quality? It happens more often than we would like. This is the great opportunity for you to be in the rarified group that provides consistent, high-quality products and services. And this is a team effort. You have to get the whole team aligned in wanting to provide consistent quality. Because if you're doing it but someone else behind the scenes isn't, that person could be upsetting the customer, and there you go. You're back out on the street having to find a brand-new customer all over again. The best way to grow a business is to keep the customers we have, keep them happy, and then continually add on new customers to that. I mean, what would you rather do? Get more business from an existing customer or try to sell a brand-new one? We know the saying, it's easier to get a person who spent money with you to spend more money than to get someone to spend money with you the first time. A key to making that happen is consistency. So I would like you to evaluate yourself first. Always start with yourself first. Are you providing consistent service quality all the time? Are you highly responsive on email? Do you always show up on time for meetings? Are you always prepared for meetings? Do you think ahead? Do you ask the right questions? Do you provide the right solutions to meet the problems of your existing customers? When you consistently show up in an excellent way, then customers start to think, you know what, this is a person I want to do more business with. This is a person I want a long-term relationship with. This is a company that I can invest more in. When you've got that nailed, you will find your business steadily gross.
