Speaker 1: Let's talk about Logical, and when we talk about Logical, we're talking about eDiscovery software for law firms, okay? And so here's an overview I want you to pay attention to. So first of all, let's define the software tool that we have here in front of us. So Logical is actually a great fit for attorneys who are beginners to eDiscovery software, but also for those who are more advanced. So you have a tool that's really flexible here, not only for beginners, but also for veterans when it comes to eDiscovery software. So this cloud-based eDiscovery software allows you to tag, redact, annotate, and share just minutes after you upload your documents. So this is really cool, but it's not really cheap though. So you're looking at at least $250 to $500 per month per project, plus $25 each gigabyte processed one-time fee, okay? Now so if you are a solo practitioner, maybe this cost is a little too much for you, but if you are very successful as solos, you might actually really value yourself of this tool. What we think about Logical is that, by the way, I want you to really pay attention to the spelling of Logical here. And so Logical, so logic with the K at the end and call. And so there are some core features that really are essential, if you will, within Logical. So you have OCR, for instance, you have predictive coding, you have Bates stamping, you have production logs, you have collaboration capabilities, you have free consulting. And what I want to really focus a little bit on OCR, because OCR actually converts scanned images into searchable documents. And the cool thing about Logical here is that Logical makes the whole process very streamlined for you. And we also want to insist on the fact that predictive coding is an important criteria to take into account when you buy or when you sign up for Logical, because predictive coding allows you to pre-tag documents before you even start reviewing them, which is really a big time saver, especially when you work on a fast-paced case. And we also want to insist on the fact that collaboration is really great. If you have larger teams that are really scattered across the country, you are able to batch and share documents with other users like co-counsel or independent contractor document reviewers. So this is kind of cool. So overall, if you need help with your OCR strategy, Logical can really help you, either the team or the software. By the way, boss, welcome back to the show. It's really a pleasure to have you here. Make yourself comfortable. We are going to enjoy today's conversation. Let's talk a little bit about the features that you can really expect if you go with Logical. First of all, with Logical, you have streamlined doc review. Now, we really love that because whenever you want to have a documentation review, you want the whole thing to be streamlined. In other words, you want to be able to search, tag, and review documents 10 times or 15 times faster than manual workflows. This is how you actually gain efficiency. This is how you actually win when it comes to litigating successfully. And within Logical, you have permission-based access and activity reporting. So you are able to collaborate with your legal team to speed up doc review. And again, I'm talking here about a legal team that's made of five people, five lawyers or 500 lawyers or even 5,000 lawyers. The scalability ability of Logical there is really pertinent, is really strong. You also have culling intelligence. So you are able to surface relevant information at the speed of light. And upon ingestion, Logical automatically organizes your files and makes them searchable by dozens of different criteria like sender, email domain, dates, etc. This is kind of cool. And what we love about Logical here is that they are... So basically, let's say you are using the software. For some reason, you're kind of stuck. They have specialists. They have product specialists that will show you how to make Logical work for your specific needs and help your firm say goodbye to vendors, delays, and client pushback. So this is one of those things where Logical is really sort of helping you in terms of consulting. There are... I mean, that makes sense because they want you to really understand how to use their products. And this is a big push here for Logical to generate enough revenue or additional revenue. But you know what? It's totally worth it. It's totally worth it. So the bottom line here is that if you work with a team or you work on your own, you basically are able to collect data in seconds, okay? You can just drag and drop your files or integrate directly with data sources like Slack, Google, Microsoft, Box, and more for an instant collection. This is really, really cool. And everything happens in a streamlined manner. So we love that a lot. And one thing I also want to say here is that you are able to scale. I want to insist on that once again. So whether you're speaking about five lawyers or 5,000 lawyers, you are still able to see the same Logical tool really performing. By the way, boss, I want to quickly remind you of today's topic. We are having a conversation about Logical. This is a Logical review, and I'm just going through the ins and outs of this software tool to give you more info about it. One thing you need to understand here when you analyze Logical is that you have automated data sorting. And automated data sorting is kind of cool because you are able to sort data in a streamlined fashion, okay? So you can uncover all your evidence no matter where it hides. And the cool thing is that you can tell dark data to take height really. Logical automatically indexes and deduplicates. So we're talking about deduplicates here. Indicates all your data, then sorts it using filters like email domain, recipients, BCC, CC address, and more. And you can even surface your most important documents in seconds and leave out the rest. This is really good. This ability to filter the best from the rest is really great, okay? You also have fast fact finding. So this is what we call the triple F in our research here. You're able to streamline your document review. So you move through your doc review at lightning speed with bulk read actions, automatic tagging for privilege, similar document detection, email threading, and PII detection. In addition to that, you can use the collaboration options to stay aligned with your team at all times. So this is really fantastic. And the cool thing also is that you can self-serve productions and sharing in a streamlined fashion, okay? So you get your data out with a click. This is an area where Logical really shines, but in some cases there are glitches. So it's one of those things where you have to really, like 90% it works, but 10% there are glitches and those glitches can be so costly, okay? But I just want to say that when it comes to self-serving productions and sharing, in Logical, one click is all you need to create a professional production or safely share data with others. And so you can keep your entire process in their closed loop platform for maximum security. And that security is AES 256 bit encryption. So basically you're really covered because we're speaking here about the military grade security or banking grade security. So this is really, really strong. What are the extras here? And let's talk about the extras. And so when we talk about Logical, there are some extras that you need to be aware of. And what happens here is that, you know, when you talk about Logical, of course, you first you have to analyze your needs, your firm's needs. You have to analyze the lawyers who are working in your company, in your firm. You also have to analyze the ancillary, what we call ancillary staff. So the legal researchers, the legal assistants, and so on and so forth. What is the dynamic within them? Because there are some elements that will really impact those dynamics. For example, security, support, review from your phone, and administrative features. Let's talk about that. Again, I'm talking here about Logical features though. So security, for instance. So Logical actually boasts AWS or Amazon Web Services bank level encryption for data in transit and at rest. And the software also tracks all activity within the application and administrators can use permissions based access to control who has access to what. And in terms of support here, Logical offers 24-7 on-call support and in-app chat response like five times faster than the competitors. They also have a library of FAQs and tutorials. If you would rather look at the solution on your own. If you love the DIY approach, hey, listen, be my guest, not a problem. You can review from your phone also. So Logical's mobile responsive websites allows you to conduct discovery work all from your phone. So we love that a lot. And you also have administrative features. So Logical's permissions-based access for administrators gives you full control, I mean full control and visibility into who has access to what. This is really cool. And you can also produce chain of custody and audit logs for court, for admissibility. And you can also measure user performance and progress with custom and advanced reporting. So this is one of those elements where you are able to control things across the way you are able to analyze what really works, what doesn't work. It's one of those things where you can actually choose what kind of functionalities you want to focus on. And it's one of those things also at some point where you can say, you know what, I would like to scale my operations and or my e-discovery process. And Logical will be there to kind of help you and your lawyers out as well. So this is really great. By the way, boss, I want to quickly remind you of today's topic. We are having a conversation about Logical. So this is a Logical review. Let's talk about more features here or more specs, if you will. So basically you have streamlined legal holds. You have end-to-end discovery within Logical. You have calling intelligence and you have 24-7-365 support. And the thing here is that you might be thinking, well, those features or those specs are not that critical. But hey, listen, if you have a very busy law firm with multiple pending cases and you have lawyers who are constantly busy, you will understand that streamlined legal holds are very important. So the cool thing is that when we talk about streamlined legal holds, you are able to say goodbye to spreadsheets and manual email tracking. So Logical hold actually allows you to automate hold notices, reminders, and tracking even with Slack for increased security and speed. So this is kind of cool because it adds, in the end, extra efficiency, extra granularity, extra comprehensiveness to your whole e-discovery process. And so when we talk about e-discovery process, of course, we can't really talk about that without mentioning end-to-end discovery. And you want to have that because basically from ingestion to production, Logical has you covered end-to-end without the need for manual tasks or costly third parties. And what about calling intelligence? Well, the thing here is that Logical automatically categorizes your data into predefined search filters. So here we're speaking about, for instance, email from to CC, talking about doc types, potentially privileged PII, and more. So you have the ability to do a lot of things here. You also have 24-7, 365 support. So this is kind of cool because Logical allows you to actually have access to their support system all year long. And you are able to handle your process on your own. But what if you get stuck? This is where they have a team of discovery experts that's always there to help you out. And you can chat with them. You can talk to them on the phone. You can even email them. It's totally up to you. One thing I want to say here is that the level of speed, I mean, the speed, how fast they get back to you depends on the kind of pricing plan you have. I'll speak about pricing later on. But yeah, everything is linked here. Everything is linked based on your pricing plan, your pricing tier, rather. What is the value added here? So when we think about Logical, I want to really insist on the fact that they really integrate with a constellation of tools that are really important. You can see on the screen here some of the tools that they integrate with, this software integrates with. And most importantly of all, you have OneDrive and you have Clio. And you also have Slack. And one thing I need to say is that this integration has really helped because you are able to actually get things done faster. You're able to get things done more efficiently. No need to open 1000 browsers, 1000 windows to be able to get your job done because the integration is native. When you don't have native integrations, you have to go through a third party integration come to it like Zapier. But when you have it natively, it really works fantastically. So this is what Logical has. So you're able to actually get things done a lot faster. If you're able to get things done a lot faster, you can make clients love you. In other words, you are able to eliminate the unpredictable cost and all too predictable friction that arises with third party vendors, especially when you are sort of stuck in the e-discovery process. And Logical really allows you to handle discovery without vendors, runaway bills, or angry clients. What we love about Logical here is that you are able to do things professionally and efficiently. You're able to actually get things done in a streamlined fashion. And you are able in the end to get more billables. So you can get rid of vendors means you can bring more e-discovery work in-house without adding new resources. And you can easily bill back to clients on a per matter basis or per case basis with their straightforward pricing. So this is kind of cool. So Logical really helps you in terms of the billability of your firm here. And so the cool thing is that you are able to get the full picture of your matter or your case quickly. So if you can drag and drop, you can create a new matter in Logical. From there, the software calling intelligence and advanced searching options help you quickly understand the scope of your matters. You can also pull out irrelevant data and move out fast with their document review. So this is really cool. I want to talk to you about the pricing now. So as I said before, pricing is not really transparent here. And you can see on the screen that they basically, they're not publishing anything at all. They want you to contact them when it comes to a subscription and they want you to first go through the demo. So you have to go through the demo when you go through the demo anyway, they were telling you to contact customer service or sales to have a clear idea. But at least you have an idea of what the features that are included in each pricing plan. So you have two pricing when it comes to Logical. You have the GB pricing and then you have the subscription plan. So you have, sorry, you have the pay as you go, then you have the subscription plan. So pay as you go, that's month to month plans. You also have annual and quarterly plans, but you have to contact Logical and really agree with them on that. So here you have, you can see on the screen too. So the cool thing is you have unlimited users, unlimited projects, unlimited downloads, 24 or five. So they're not working on the weekend, 24 or five in-app support. You can easily, easily build back matters. You have free initial onboarding and training. What we love about the pay as you go plan is that you are in total control. So if you have a small firm or a large firm or a medium sized firm, you are in total control. So you can change things as you see fit. It's not about you actually locking yourself down into a one year contract where you were paying like a certain amount every year. I mean, every month rather, regardless of how much you make it. So this, this sort of variable pricing is really cool. We love that. So besides the pay as you go, you have the subscription plan that allows you to actually sign up for a annual plan. So this is not month to month anymore. It's annual plan. So they are billing you on a, on an annual basis. And so you have unlimited storage here. You have unlimited projects. You have cloud integrations. You have a AV transcription, you have a near dupe, you have a, you have AI and more. You have chat filtering and for Slack, you have premium support and training. So basically this is in addition to the consolation, the consolation of features you have already with pay as you go. Okay. Those pay as you go features come to actually stay on top of the subscription features. But long story short for those two cases, you have to contact Logical and they'll let you know how much you have to pay. That's you never know beforehand how much you pay, but we can tell you for a fact that after doing research, Logical is not cheap. Okay. But hey, listen, if it adds value, you know, money is that it's actually, it's actually something relative because if you can save a lot of time doing the e-discovery process, listen, it's really worth it. Thank you so much for your attention. I really appreciate it. Into this conversation, I was just talking to you about Logical. This was a Logical review. So I gave you the overview, the features, the extras, the value added, the pricing and the recap. Thank you so much. God bless you. I'll see you next time. Until then, remember, stay marvelous.
