Speaker 1: Hey guys. Welcome to another video of SAS Track, where we review the best tools and software in the market. Today, we'll discuss an online survey tool SurveyMonkey. But before we get started, make sure you like this video and hit the subscribe button. And don't forget to turn on our notifications. We'll ping you every time we upload a new video. Let's get started without further ado. So, SurveyMonkey what is it? As I already said, it's an online tool that lets you create professional surveys. So, you can collect feedback, criticism, opinions, and suggestions from your customers and the general public. Creating surveys can be daunting. And if you're a newbie, you might even struggle to jot down the questions on which you need to work. See, that's where SurveyMonkey comes into play. Let me show you how it works. The tool is pretty cool, really. You can check the dashboard along with me. I have linked a free trial to their dashboard in the description. Pause the video to get started with SurveyMonkey. Then we can proceed ahead together. Also, if you like to read, we have linked a written version of this review as well in the description. Make sure to check it out while you scroll. Alright, so, here, I have logged in already. If you are a new user, you will see that SurveyMonkey directly shows you this option to customize your surveys. But the first thing that we're going to do is complete our profile. It's simple, enter your name, your job role, job level, your company name, number of employees, then save. I have already registered these details. So, you can see all these details saved here already. I'll save the details again. Perfect. Let's move on. The next option you see here is this Design a Survey. So, we'll click on it, and we get PTHIS Customization page again. The first option Build It For Me lets SurveyMonkey create a survey for you. Like, you'll enter your details, and they'll come up with questions that cater to your requirements. The second option lets you choose from the available templates. They have this collection of pre-drafted questions based on genres and fields. So, when you pick a template, you get the questions based on that genre. You can customize that later. And, the last one is pretty obvious. The Start From Scratch option lets you customize a survey of your own. So, let's click on that first. Here, you can see you can enter the survey name. Let's go with Coffee, because, why not? In the Survey category, we'll go with the General Market Research. Then you get these options here. We'll not go with one question at a time, but with the second option Classic Layout. Meaning, the person reading our survey would read all the questions at once on the same page. Once we select that, we'll click on Create Survey. Nice. So first, we'll enter a question here. Say, when do you like your coffee? Here you can edit the font. Make it bold, italics, change the color, insert media, etc. So, that's cool. Next, we select the type of choices that we give the user. Multiple choice, ratings, comment box, contact info, etc. Just below this, you have the Answer Genius. It lets you provide answer ranges to the audience. For instance, I'll go with the option Always to Never. Look at the choices that popped up here at the bottom. Then you have other check boxes below. Like, you can add the other or none of the above button if the audience finds no suitable option. Once you're sure about the options you want for this particular question, click on the next question. You have to follow the same procedure. Add as many questionnaires as you like. Then click on Save. You'll be able to see the overall appearance of your survey here. Click on Next if you like it this way. And if you want to edit the questions, you have all the options in front of every question. So, go ahead with that. I'll save my survey here. After clicking on Next, you see a page like this. SurveyMonkey displays you the overall score of your survey along with the estimated time that one would take to complete it and other stuff. You can add a logo or a cover here. Or you can proceed ahead to collecting responses. It brings us to the fourth step, which is to collect responses from your audiences. Now, SurveyMonkey already has an audience base of targeted customers who can answer your surveys in no time. You can either go with that or send the surveys on your own. The former option is a paid one, so we'll go with the free option. Here, you get a range of options regarding how you want to collect your surveys via social media, emails, a survey link, by embedding a link, and many more. So, let's go with a survey link. You'll get more options to customize the survey multiple responses, response editing, instant results, etc. So, we'll copy this survey link, send it to a friend, then wait for them to fill it. Go to the Analyze Results column. You'll be able to view the results here. We have question summaries, insights and data trends, and individual responses. You can compile and present these reports for further analysis in the next menu, i.e., the present results. Alright, so that's all about the custom option. Let's look at the other ones as well. Click on the dashboard, then go to Design a Survey. You can already look at the survey that we added here right now. You can either copy and paste this one or go with other options. If you go with the templates, you get all these popular ones. I'll go with this one, the Customer Satisfaction Survey. So, you can look at a preview of all these questions. They're pretty generalized ones. You can also view the sample results. Here, look at all these graphs. That's how SurveyMonkey would display your survey responses. If you like it, click on Use This Template. SurveyMonkey lets you preview these questions first so that you make necessary changes before proceeding ahead. Edit the options that you don't like and click on Next. The rest of the procedure is similar to the previous option, so I'll just quickly finish it off. First, I'll go to Collect Responses, copy the link. Then send it to my friends and wait for the results. Cool, so let's go back to the dashboard. And look, here are both the surveys that we added recently. Click on Create, and go to Build It For Me. So you get all these options first about the type of audience who'd be taking the survey. I'll go with Employees or Coworkers. Next, we'll select our goal. So I'll go with Measure Satisfaction. Then SurveyMonkey asks to choose a survey. I'll again go with Employee Satisfaction. Then I'll enter the name of my company. Next, we can either add a logo. I'll skip it for now. So, here, you can see. SurveyMonkey not only gets you questions that cater to your requirements, the Genius Assistant provides other smart options as well. You can add departments, job level, change the survey appearance, and remove branding. You also have this question bank on the left-hand side of your screen. If we go to the Customer Feedback, we get this long list of all the questions with options. Choose the one you like, and SurveyMonkey will automatically add it to the list. However, you have to pay for creating a survey of more than 10 questionnaires. Call. So once you're happy with the set of questions, you can click on Preview Survey. Check if you're okay with it and click on Send Survey. The rest of the procedure is the same. So I don't think I'll have to elaborate on that. So that's how you create and organize surveys on SurveyMonkey. Let's take a quick look at this Small My Surveys option. You can look at the surveys and an overview of their responses, design, etc. Let's check the prices now. The cheapest plan costs $21.26 per user per month. It gives you premium features like adding contributor seats, custom logo, colors, survey URL, multilingual surveys, and many more. The higher plan costs $52.12 per user per month. This plan offers the same features as the previous one and much, much more. Like, this one has phone support and 24-7 email support, white label surveys, crosstabs, etc. Now, if you want super advanced features, they also have an enterprise plan. There is no definite pricing for this one, and you have to contact SurveyMonkey to get a quote. So, you see, the features are cool, the customizations are commendable, and the tools interface is hands-down friendly. But I think the prices are a bit high for one-time users or small-scale companies. But if you want to organize surveys extensively, I'd call the plans mediocre. Not cheap. But I like that even for a free user, they're providing more than enough options. So, that's also good in case you want to try it out. I have linked their free trial in the description. Check it out if you are willing to test the interface. And yes, it's absolutely free. Also, read the written review of SurveyMonkey that I have linked in the description. The link is in the description below. With that, we come to an end. I'd rate SurveyMonkey a big, fat 8.5, 10. I mean, I loved the features and all, but the p.prices seemed a bit too high for someone who might not create surveys that often. But I liked the reports option, so that's a thumbs up from my side. So, that's all for today. If you liked this video, make sure you hit the like button and share it with your friends.
