Speaker 1: We all know it can be hard to pick the perfect LMS and If you've watched other content on our channel, we really break down the LMS decision into two groups the first one is external and the second one is internal LMS's an External LMS is an LMS built to sell to your learners So you'll be selling an online course or an e-learning program as a product an internal LMS is an LMS LMS used primarily to train employees, contractors, and internal team members. So that means for onboarding, it could be technical training within different departments of your organization. That's what we mean by internal LMS. Now, Talent LMS is our favorite internal LMS. And today we are going to go through our review of the best features of Talent LMS. My name is Johnny Habe and I'm one of the co-founders of eLearning Partners and we created this YouTube channel to simplify eLearning for you so that you can save time, save money and focus on providing value to your learners. So let's dive in today. We have six of our favorite features of Talent LMS in this Talent LMS review. The first feature that we love about Talent LMS is, as you can see here, I am on their site. I go to pricing. And look, you can get started for free. There aren't that many LMSs that allow you to not only get started for free, but you can build up to 10 courses for free. And you can test these courses on your learners. Now, you are only going to be able to test it on four learners because when you get started for free, you get five users. And those five users mean that you're gonna have one admin user, which would be yourself, which we recommend sharing that account with the rest of your team so that you can use your other four users as learners. So without spending a dime or a euro, you will be able to get your learners into your LMS and get their feedback just like that, really simple. So you also get unlimited email support and they actually have phenomenal technical email support at Talent LMS. So that is the number one feature that we love about Talent LMS. The second feature that we love about Talent LMS is that they break down their pricing into two options. You can either have a standard plan or an active plan. So what's the difference and why do you even care? Well, the difference between a standard plan and an active plan is the standard plan has a user cap of how many users can actually be in the platform. So once you do your testing with that free account and you wanna move up to the starter or the basic, the plus or the premium. Let's say you're a premium user and you have a thousand people at your company. You are going to pay $569 a month if you bill monthly, or you're gonna pay $459 a month if you do annual billing. And by doing that, you're gonna be able to have a thousand users. Pretty cool. But let's think about it this way. What if not all those users are active? So let's say that you have 1,000 people at your organization. You're paying the $600 give or take a month and only 200 of the individuals at your organization are using it. You're literally paying for 800 additional users and only 200 are using it. In that case, you wanna do an active plan. So the active plans are a little different. the premium active plan, you are going to pay $649 a month. And yeah, you're only gonna get 500 active users, but you could have unlimited registered users. So instead of you having to worry about off-boarding users when you're hiring or people leave, people get jobs at other companies, Talent LMS does it for you. So you don't have to keep track of, Oh my God, we're paying for 1,000 users on a standard plan. We're gonna have to get an enterprise solution now. We're gonna need 2,000 users because we have to pay someone now to make sure that they're deleting accounts and all these different things. It's like, no, don't worry. Get an active plan and only pay for the users who are active on a monthly basis. And the other cool thing about the active plan, and this only works if you pay for it on a month-to-month basis. So yes, you will pay more on a month-to-month basis if you do it this way, but Talent LMS will automatically downgrade and upgrade you depending on how many active users you have. So let's say one month you have 400 active users. Well, in that month, you would have to pay for the premium active subscription. But let's say the next month you only have 200 active users. Well, it's gonna automatically downgrade you to the plus active and save you money. So really cool how that works. Now, if you pay for the yearly subscription, yeah, you're gonna get a discount on what you're paying overall, but now if you only have 100 active users in a month, then you're paying for 500, well, you already prepaid for that year. So cool thing about active and standard is you don't have to figure out, Oh God, how many people are actually active and registered? Let's delete the other accounts because you're only gonna pay for the people who are active. So I can save you a lot of money too if you actually use Talent LMS as an external learning management system because you can use it as that. So think about it this way. Let's say that you have some new clients that just purchased your e-learning program. They get onboarded, but you have some clients who purchased your e-learning program two years ago and they aren't using it anymore. you're not gonna pay for them. You're gonna pay for the new clients that are using your program. So it's really cool how they do that. You can also actually get access to the talent library because they have ready-made courses. You're gonna pay a little extra for that. So that is the third option you have is you can actually layer that on either of these other options. Number three, we know that you have worked really hard with that internal technology infrastructure at your company. You probably already have a bunch of different softwares you use, you may have even developed your own internal software to manage the operations of different processes in your company. Or maybe you are a software company and you sell software as a service. The cool thing about Talent LMS is they have a SSO. So single sign on. Now you're going to need to pay for the basic plan or higher for your standard plans or the basic active plus active or premium active to get this. So basically, if you have the free version or the starter version, you aren't gonna be able to get the SSO, but it's really not that expensive. I mean, $149 a month to set up your SSO, get up to a hundred users, or you can pay $269 a month and get a hundred active users and have an SSO set up, not that big of a deal. So what does an SSO do? Well, think about it like this. You, have you ever gone to a website and signed up for a new subscription, like a Spotify subscription? So let's go to Spotify right now. Spotify.com. And if I go to sign up, it's gonna ask me if I wanna sign up with Facebook or if I wanna sign up with Google. So if I sign up with Google or Facebook, I am actually using an SSO, a single sign-on capability, which means that I don't have to create a new email address, password, profile name, all these different things. All I have to do is sign up with Google. I already have all my Google information and I sign up and boom, I have an account. Same thing, but with your internal technology system, you have SSO capabilities. So this is great for user experience for your learners. And it's great with integrating Talent LMS with the technologies you and your the company are already using. Our fourth reason why we love Talent LMS, and we believe it is the best internal LMS system you can integrate at your company, is their API documentation. Talent LMS makes it extremely easy for you to integrate their software with the technologies you already have. And what they've done, and you won't find this online, this is something we get because we have an affiliate link with Talent LMS. We are part of their affiliate program. And by the way, if you want to show some support to us and get the amazing bonuses that you get by using an affiliate link, then we have our affiliate link in the description below this video. Some of the bonuses you're gonna get are support from a customer relationship representative. We work with some amazing customer relationship representatives with Talent LMS. We're gonna hook you up with that. In addition, you can actually get access to the paid versions of Talent LMS for free for 30, 60, or 90 days, depending on how much time you and your team need to set up the advanced features. So it's definitely worthwhile using our affiliate link, and it's no additional cost to you if you use our affiliate link or not, but you get a lot of bonuses by doing it. So the API documentation, this is sweet. This is literally all of the technology, everything related to users signing up for your platform, courses, categories, groups, everything related to Talent LMS, all the code is in this document of how to integrate it with your systems. Pretty cool. So your team can literally take this code and make Talent LMS seamlessly integrate with your current technologies. We have a couple of clients doing this right now and they love how user-friendly it is to actually integrate Talent LMS with their technologies. Number five, Talent LMS has a lot of features. As you can see here, there's users, courses, categories, groups, branches, events, engine, user types, reports, import, export, account settings, et cetera. But one of the coolest things about Talent LMS is there's different ways to group your users or group your learners. So why is this important? Because let's say that you have Talent LMS and you want to train not only your employees, but you also want to sell the training as a product. Well, what you can do is you can create different branches. So we can create different branches. We can create one branch of Talent LMS for our employees, and we create another branch for our customers that we're selling to. Another way to look at this is let's say you're a franchise and you have all these different franchises all over the country, and you want siloed learning environment for each branch or each franchise around the country. Well, what you can do is create a branch per franchise. And what that allows is all the learning is siloed in that branch. The leaderboards, the gamification parts of Talent LMS, it's all branch specific, which is really cool. All the courses, you can have different courses in different branches. You can have courses in all the branches, all these different options. Another way to do it is groups. So you can have groups within branches. So the point is you can do a lot of customization with Talent LMS without having to know how to code. Really simple to organize learners, especially when you are thinking about growing your e-learning program within your organization. Think about it another way. You can have a branch for each department. You can have a sales branch, a marketing branch, an accounting branch, a finance branch. You can have the same thing. You can have a group within your accounting branch, you can have your internal audit group, you can have your tax group. So different ways you can segment training for learners. And in the end, the learners are the most important user in your platform, so pretty cool. And number six, why we love Talent LMS. As you know, my co-founder is from the motherland, Greece, and so is Talent LMS. And why should you care about this? Well, the Greeks are probably some of the nicest people you will ever meet. So working with Talent LMS is amazing. Their customer support is amazing. They are very good with people. So their goal is to really help you get integrated into their system. They really care about your learners. So while they're headquartered in Greece, they also have offices in the UK and in the US. So they have support everywhere. Like we said, the culture of Greece is extremely welcoming, so is Talent LMS, so definitely check it out. And remember, you can check it out for free, which is the best part about this in the first place. If you literally check it out, build out your entire course and get learner feedback without spending a dime or a euro, like we said. Now, other than trying out the free version, how are you gonna know if Talent LMS is the right LMS for you? Well, if you wanna make sure, All you have to do is sign up for our free masterclass linked in the description below, and we will teach you how to guarantee the success of your e-learning program every single time you build one. Now, we give you a step-by-step process in our masterclass, and we tell you how to define your learners and what they want and need. And a big part of that is simplifying the LMS decision. We don't want you spending hours upon hours figuring out what LMS to use, because in the end, really all that matters is that your learners like it, which is why we recommend Talent LMS, because you can take our masterclass to find your learners, get Talent LMS if you are building an internally learning program, build out your first mini course, and get feedback right away without spending any money.
