Speaker 1: Here at One Day Video we make great explainer videos, and the best way to ensure a great explainer video is to write a great script. Now it's easy to say we make great videos, but what exactly makes an explainer video great? Well, we believe it comes down to four things. One, it is clear and concise. The video shouldn't be too long. We have found the perfect length is 90 seconds. Two, it is funny. We have found the best way to make a video more engaging is to add a bit of humor. In our experience, a fun video always outperforms a more serious one. Three, it focuses on the key points, not all the detail. After all, it is an explainer video, not an explain everything video. If you try and say everything, you'll end up saying nothing, because no one will be able to remember it all. The goal of a great explainer video is to spark interest. You show them just enough that they get it and want to find out more. Then you can direct them to a landing page where you can add all of the details. Finally, number four, a great explainer video has really good structure. Let me show this to you by watching a video that we have made for one of our clients and breaking it down for you. Now a structure we use for our explainer video goes like this, hook, problem, solution, pull to action. Now the video I'm going to show you is for a company called Lentune. They're a software company, but we explain the entire thing using only people. The video must begin with a really good hook. This is what you need to grab someone's attention when they're scrolling on Facebook. That makes you wonder like, oh, this is a bit different, what am I watching? Then we come into the problem.

Speaker 2: Are you tired of chasing paper invoices at the end of every month? Have you got invoices everywhere, but really, you need them all here? What if they were digital?

Speaker 1: That is our problem statement, are you tired of chasing invoices? Then we're going to come into our solution. Now with the solution, what you want to do is you want to show yourself as the ultimate solution to your customer's pain point. Here we go with the solution.

Speaker 2: Let me show you how it works. This is Lentune. Lentune is an all-in-one invoice management solution. It automatically collates your digital invoices into one place and allows you to access the information you need wherever you are. He's actually a human person called Jono, but for the purposes of this video, he's playing a piece of software. Comedy genius right there, people. You get an invoice, Lentune checks your email, pulls out the invoice and reads it. Then it takes key data such as costs and throws them up into the cloud. Next, it codes your invoices and then delivers them to the relevant people for approval. Once the relevant authorities are happy, the invoice is ready to go.

Speaker 1: So what we did just there is explain the key things that it does.

Speaker 2: Because Lentune has all of your invoices, it keeps a running tab of exactly where your costs are at against the budget, so it can tell you at any time.

Speaker 1: And now we're going to show some of the benefits of Lentune. What's the current budget looking like?

Speaker 2: 1.3 million. 1.3 million. Lentune even checks the budget against agreed pricing to see if suppliers have overcharged. That wholesaler's overcharging you.

Speaker 1: Thanks, Lentune.

Speaker 2: Lentune is quick and easy to set up, gets along with all your current business systems and comes with a great support team.

Speaker 1: And finally, you need to finish your video with a strong call to action, so the people who want to find out more know what the next step is to take.

Speaker 2: So what are you waiting for? If you want to save money and save time and increase the visibility of your costs, find out more below. Refocus on what matters with Lentune's smarter business automation.

Speaker 1: So always finish with a URL, call action to attention. So this would appear, say, in a Facebook ad. So the link that they want you to click on is probably going to be in the description below. Great call to action. Yeah. And that is how we make explainer videos here at One Day Video. I hope you've enjoyed this video. Please like and subscribe for more content. And I'll see you next week in the next video. Adios.

Speaker 2: Oh yeah.

Speaker 1: Parkour.
