Speaker 1: Your Client Portal provides a safe, secure, and easy way for your clients to be able to select abacus law information. For example, you can use your Client Portal to inform your clients of meetings, or let your clients access their bills directly, or quickly share a draft with them. The Client Portal URL is customized to your firm, so even small firms can have the same branded technology as large firms. Your clients will be delighted with the quick and efficient control and access they have over their own information. Let's look at some of the powerful features of this tool. The dashboard appears after signing in. It lists unpaid invoices and the most recent documents, events, and notes. The client simply selects an item for more information.

Speaker 2: Your clients can view and download their invoices.

Speaker 1: Clients with Abacus Accounting and Abacus Payment Exchange can even pay their invoices right from the Client Portal. All transactions are secured with SSL, which is the same level of security that banks use. Clients can download and upload documents from the Client Portal. For example, a client could download a contract.

Speaker 2: The client could then fill in any missing information and upload the completed contract.

Speaker 1: The attorney is notified of the upload through email. This kind of back and forth is more secure than emailing, since the document doesn't have to travel across unknown mail servers.

Speaker 2: Clients can see all of their notes. They can also add notes to their matters.

Speaker 1: Assigned attorneys get an email notification when their clients add notes, so no new information escapes notice. Clients can see information for all their matters with the firm.
