Speaker 1: The Glossary is a tool that helps to ensure that all the key terms are translated consistently and accurately for your projects. Once you have set up your glossary, whenever a defined term appears in the translation project, it will be highlighted automatically, and translators can easily refer to the guidelines you have provided. This glossary will make sure that all of your saved translations are consistent and accurate at all times. To add a glossary term, go to the Glossary section of your project and then click Add a Glossary Term. Enter the glossary term in its base language, and provide description to help translators understand the usage of the term for an accurate translation. The Translate Term toggle tells translators whether you want them to translate the term. For example, if the glossary term is your company name, and you want to keep it untranslated, select No for this toggle. If you select Yes for Translate Term, there will be a second toggle asking you if you want to translate the term in all languages. For example, if you only want to translate the term in French, but keep it as it is in Chinese, then select No for the toggle, and you will be able to set your language preferences. There is also an option for you to indicate whether the glossary term should be case sensitive. For example, if you choose On, Follower, written in all lower cases will not be considered as the same glossary term. If you need some reminders on how a glossary term is used in your project, you can go to the Preview Context option at the bottom to preview where the glossary term actually appears in your translation file. Click Save, and you have successfully created a glossary term. Alternatively, you can also upload your glossary terms in batch using TMX format. The terms will be set to Translate Term, Translate to All Languages, and Non-Case Sensitive by default. If you want to update those settings for any glossary term, go to the section Glossary Terms and click the gear wheel icon next to the glossary term. There, you will have the option to update or delete any glossary term. OneSky. Translation made easy.
