Speaker 1: Hi, thank you for joining us for a quick tour of the Learning Lab LMS. I'm Mariel, I'm Marketing and Sales Director at the Learning Lab and I'm joined here by

Speaker 2: Julia. Hello everyone, thanks for joining. I'm Julia and I'm Operations Manager at the Learning Lab.

Speaker 1: And today the idea is really that we'll give you a very quick, easy tour of 15-20 minutes to just run you through the key features of the Learning Lab LMS to help you get started. I hope you enjoy this tour and of course you can reach out to our team if you have any questions. Great, so today as you can see, we really will start with the landing page. The landing page is where you can advertise your e-learning courses. Your landing page can be a public page for your visitors to view before they have access to your system. So before they log in, whether that's behind a paywall or that's behind a password, you can allow them to already see what your courses have to offer, what your platform has to offer. This is of course also entirely optional. So you may or may not want to have a landing page. What you can see here is that it's entirely brandable. You can have any background you want, any colors you would like, you can have any images you want, you can have any kind of typeface you want as well. So each and every part of this page is fully customizable and it can be done in a very easy way as well. So it's not actually requiring any code. You can do it yourself, you can ask our team to do it, but it's really just a few clicks. So if one day you decide you want to create a different colored page, you want to create a red page or a blue page, you can very easily do that in just a few clicks. And that's really at the heart of our philosophy as well, that every part of this platform is fully customizable and that it's very easy. So you don't need to do any kind of coding, any kind of tickets, requests with dev. It's really instantaneous. So it's very, very fast. So now we'll log in and what you can see is when you go to log in, you can again customize this page so you can have different videos here, different images here. As you can see here, there's a video playing in the background. You can make that any kind of video you want, but of course it can also be still image. And then you can allow people to either log in or create their accounts. This is something you can also deactivate, of course, if you don't want them to create their own account. And then when you log in, they can log in using their password and email or of course any kind of internal single sign-on they might already have. So now you see that I'm on the dashboard page. So this is where the learners come the first time they sign in. Of course, the first time they sign in, they might also have a welcome message as well from you. You might want to guide them a little bit more. But you can also then create a very custom dashboard for them. Again, with video backgrounds, you can have their courses advertised to them. You can have little messages for your learners set up. You can show their learning paths. You can show their course collection. And you can, of course, guide them with different types of information on the page. You can also really use this to incentivize them and to encourage them. And the idea is really, again, that this is fully customizable to exactly what you might. And what we have here is the side menu. And as you can see, there's different options that you can activate or deactivate. And this is also what the student can then use to navigate the platform. So we can start with learning paths.

Speaker 2: I think Julia can take us through those. Definitely. Thank you, Mariel, for this introduction. In terms of learning paths, you can really build them according to your needs and your student needs. So as you can see, you can really highlight different courses, different lessons, or even quizzes, so that users can have a very nice overview of what are the next steps for their training. They also can see what they can achieve with that learning path. So they can complete it by a dedicated deadline and then receive an award. So for example, some achievements, some badges, some certificates as well. And then what they can also do is they can really track their progress. So they have a nice overview on how long the particular learning path is. Besides that, you can also create individual, but also group learning paths. So it means you can really personalize the whole learning process.

Speaker 1: Exactly. And this is really just one way of learning. This is sort of a very, let's say, linear way where they can see their entire journey, but they can also go through courses and just see the catalog of courses and see exactly what they might want to learn, what might be interesting for them as well. So this is another option. And what might be interesting here to see is that, of course, you can organize your course catalog with your own branding, your own design, and your own layout. But on top of that, you can also use our authoring tool to build your lessons. So you can really make them look however you might wish to make them look. So here you can see a very simple course, but we can also fully brand that. So I'll quickly show you an elegant lesson design as here an example. So as you can see, you can have a nice video background. You could have text, again, really in your own branding, in the layout of your choosing. And you can really build these slides very quickly directly in the authoring tool.

Speaker 2: I just wanted to add here that you can really use all of our widgets that are available in our slide builder. So it means there is no coding, as Mario mentioned, you can really use the ready-made widgets and just customize them to your needs. Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1: And so the idea is that it's really easy to create hotspots here, they can be fully branded. And so it looks like something that's really custom made, but in reality, it's just a photo that you've uploaded, you've added some text. And it's a very custom interaction for your user. So what we're really passionate about at the Learning Lab is making sure you can very easily and in an efficient way, create very exciting interactive learning content that's really, really enjoyable for the learner. So to get really creative very easily, not to be stumped by technology or by difficult processes. And so that's why we've tried to make it really, really easy for you and your team to create updates, quizzes, lessons, slides, all these kinds of things in just a few clicks.

Speaker 2: I think we've covered the key parts, Julia, do you agree? Yeah, definitely. I think we can move on to the next part of the platform. Perfect. So then we have webinars, do you want to quickly walk us through those? Yeah, definitely. In terms of webinars, you can organize them straight on our platform with the usage of, for example, Zoom, but we have also different integrations possible. And as you can see, the users can have an overview on upcoming webinars, but also on webinar series. So depending on whatever way you wish to organize those sessions, you can really see the overview of the webinars. And for example, we can open one just to show you how an example looks like. So you can really see here that you can add some additional description. You can also add this particular webinar to any course or any lesson so that it links to the learning materials you place on the platform. You can also add those events to the calendar, so you can really customize that area as well.

Speaker 1: Of course, you can also see the past webinar replays, so here you have a few past webinars. And if someone has missed the webinar or they're new to the firm, they can, of course, see what was done before. So the idea is really just that you are able to very easily manage all your webinars in one place and that really all the content is aggregated there for your students. Great. Then I think we can move on to the library. So the library's had a huge redesign, right, Julia? I think we did a bang there. And what you see now is that you can easily search any type of content you might be looking for, but you can also see whichever content you pinned. So if there was content that was very important to you that you pinned, then you can actually find it back very quickly by seeing, okay, this was my pinned content. I can also see what I recently opened. So if I were to open a few items, then it would actually show as recently opened for me as well. Is there anything else we should show regarding the library, you think, Julia?

Speaker 2: I think we can open one sample folder because the core thing here is that you can really manage your documents in the library using different folders and subfolders. So you can really manage sources for the users the best way you can. And yeah, we can add as many different files as you wish, right, Mariel? So we can add videos, we can add audio files, PDFs, Word documents, and you can make those documents, those files downloadable as well. So there is a lot of options with resources here and a lot of them is still to come for sure, right?

Speaker 1: Yeah, definitely. So as you can see, you can have Word documents, PDF, video, all types of content. And you can also see the information about them. So we've really tried to make the library also a very easy content repository. We've really tried to make the library an easy knowledge platform. So really where people can search knowledge also for just-in-time learning and where people can really easily organize the folders, access the content, and really enjoy also looking through different notes or different documentations that they might need.

Speaker 2: Exactly. And besides, of course, having those resources in here in the library, it's worth noting that you can also link those documents, those files, additional resources basically to the core learning content, right? So it means that you can add here some additional sources that perhaps users might need in order to finish the certain course. So you can really find it as an additional element for the whole learning process.

Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely. Maybe it's interesting to take a look now at the community forum because that's another cool feature that you can use for your learners where you can just have your community discuss key topics. Do you want to walk us through that quickly, Julia?

Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, definitely. Thanks. Thanks, Mariel. So in terms of community, as you can see, there are different topics created. And what's important here is that both users and admins can create topics here. So you really enable this kind of social learning over here to make sure that people can add their own topics, questions here. They can also link them to a chosen category and also to a course. So of course, if the particular thread is limited to a chosen course, it means only those students with the access to the course can see and reply and really communicate with other people using that particular thread. So it really allows users to collaborate together, to really communicate, to really make this whole experience even better. And yeah, just really social learning is something that we really cater for. So Mariel, perhaps you'd like to also add something here.

Speaker 1: Yeah. So social learning is something we really try to cater for. And that's also something that we've already rolled out to the chat. We are also looking at enriching the forum with not only text, but even video formats and audio format as well. So we're also really excited about the future, let's say, updates that we're rolling out to the community. So for us, it's really important to give the users different platforms where they can discuss. So whether it's in a chat, next to the lesson, whether it's in a forum, you know, talking about frequently asked questions or key topics. And we're also really looking at allowing the users to collaborate more and more on the platform as well with social learning. So yeah, absolutely. It's a key topic for us.

Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. You see, we're just tackling the social learning topics. So I guess this is a nice moment to switch to the Achievements and Leaderboard features. So can you take us through as well?

Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely. Sounds good. So for the Achievements section, we realized that this is something that is really important to a lot of students and a lot of learners. They also can achieve some kind of rewards. So they can achieve badges, they can achieve awards, they can achieve milestones. But these are just some examples of what's possible. So you can really upload your own badge, you can have your own design here, and you can also create your own category. So within your company, instead of calling it awards, you call this achievements, or you call this milestones, then you can really fully adapt this category and also create your own type of badge. So there's even different badges, and different awards, different points. And this really can drive the learner. This really ties in with the Leaderboard because very often, a badge is linked to an achievement. And the Leaderboard is also very much linked to achievements where you can assign points to different lessons, to different courses, to different completions on the platform. And you can then allow people to gather points. So as you can see here, people can then start racing against each other to have the maximum amount of points. Of course, the algorithm is intelligent. So what it does is it will not give everyone 200 points that has completed the course. It's kind of a little bit more special than that. So the way it looks, it looks at the completion time, also the points won during the quizzes. So how was your score? And then it will compile your personal score so that, you know, the competition is not only between completing the course, but also doing it very well. And of course, then whoever does it really well and the fastest will win. You can really then also rank your users and it can be done by individuals or also by markets or by groups. So this is something that you can activate in the back end of the system very easily. And you can decide, do I want a Leaderboard, do I want to activate it a few months a year for special activation? These things are all possible. This is very, very fast. Maybe before we wrap up, we quickly look at the back end as well, because we've specially designed it to be very user-friendly and yet easy to use for the administrators. So when you're on the front end, what you can see here is you always have the pencil following you around. And so no matter which section you're in, you can always quickly link to the admin side where you can then have a full management of the platform. And this is something we've really designed to be really nice looking, really user-friendly, really intuitive. As you can see, it's fully designed. And so you can see your course catalog, you can manage your learning paths. And these are really things that should make it quite easy for you to start uploading content as well. So if you want to add a new class, you simply click Add Class. You can also go into Classes and into Courses and then into Lessons, which of course, again, is something you can also reduce the number of levels. And within a lesson, this is really where you can then start editing the content. So as you can see, I have a preview of all my slides. I can move my slides around and reorder them if I would like to. I can also very easily see them as a list rather than a thumbnail view. And I can add slides here using the authoring tool. The authoring tool is a little bit of a topic in itself, and we'll take you through that in another video. But what you can just see here is that you have a lot of layout options and you can then use those to build your own cards and use those to build your own lesson. Julia, anything else you want to add about the backend before we wrap up?

Speaker 2: Just perhaps one thing that basically the whole backend of the platform is as intuitive as possible, and we're constantly improving that for you as well. But we just wanted to make it as easy for you to use as possible. So when you go to the library, for example, or to the community tab, you can see a very similar view as you have on the frontend. So it means that you can already see sort of how it looks like for the end users. And it also is easier for you to manage that, because as we mentioned, there's no coding here. You can just use the ready-made elements that you can customize to your needs.

Speaker 1: Yeah, no, absolutely. I think that's really important that you don't need to be techie to be able to use our platform. Everything is really clearly indicated. And of course, you also have our team to help you through it. Great. Well, we hope you enjoyed this video. We have other tutorials to take you through specific details of the platform. And of course, you can reach out to us and we will help you get set up and get started on the Learning Lab LMS. Thank you so much. Have a great day. Great. Thank you very much.
