Speaker 1: Welcome to the Windscribe Digital Dictation Solution, brought to you by Voice Power. In this video, we will look at the following. Windscribe Author Plus, the software used to send dictation. Windscribe Mobility, the smartphone apps that allow you to record and send dictation. Windscribe Client, the software used by admin staff to type and listen back to dictation. And finally, Windscribe Web Manager, the management portal for creating new users and building workflows across individual users and departments. Windscribe Author Plus. Whether you are using a digital recorder or a handheld device, you can send dictation using this application on your PC or laptop. Windscribe Author allows you to view your sent dictation and see the status of it, as well as obviously being able to record new dictation. Let's record and send a new piece of dictation. I can start a new job and then decide on who it goes to, whether that be a department, a typing pool or an individual, such as a PA. I can then choose the job type which matches the dictation. In this example, I'm using a letter. Custom user fields can also be designed that match the organisation. In this example, I'm using client name and matter number. I'll now start to dictate. This is a test piece of dictation. Please do not type. Once recorded, I can mark the dictation urgent or leave as normal priority. I can then send the job and confirm. The dictation, as you can see, has been sent and is waiting to be typed. This column will update as the dictation file is allocated to a typist and when finished, will be marked as complete. Windscribe Mobility. You can also send jobs from a smartphone by using the Windscribe Professional smartphone app. As an author, this is all you need to send and check the status of your dictation. So you don't need the AuthorPlus application. The app shows draft, outbox and sent dictation. The status of your sent dictation can also be seen from the app. In the example, it is showing that my dictation has been typed and is complete. To record a dictation, the app turns your smartphone into a recorder and you can record, playback, overwrite and insert dictation as you please. When you have finished, you can simply send the dictation using a Wi-Fi connection or through a mobile connection such as 4G. Windscribe Client. Windscribe Client is a software that is used on your PC or laptop to view and type dictation that has been sent. With Windscribe Client, you have a shared folder which is similar to a pool of dictation shared between a group of typists. Or, an individual folder whereby dictation has been sent to you directly. When an author sends a job, it will either land in the shared jobs area or they have sent it specifically to yourself and will arrive in the My Jobs folder. As you can see with these example dictations, you can see who has sent it, what type of dictation it is, which department it belongs to, the length of the job and when it was dictated on. When starting to type a dictation, the software minimizes to a playback bar with which I can then control using foot pedals. Once typed, I can mark the dictation as complete. The job no longer sits in Shared Jobs or My Jobs but has been moved to the completed items. Windscribe Web Manager. This is a web portal used by managers to create users and assign them a workflow. It gives an overall look at what dictation is being typed or is in a typing queue as well as dictation that has been completed. You can locate and assign or allocate dictation from one typing group to another or assign dictation to an individual. So for departments that share work or help out with backlogs, the Windscribe Web Manager can create a flexible cross-working environment across an organization. Web Manager also features a reporting tool so productivity can also be analyzed.
