Speaker 1: My name is Micah and I'm a location pastor. I was using Survey Monkey but I switched to Google Forms. For more reviews like this click below. A couple of business problems. Actually as of late I've used Google Forms quite a bit. Just an example we have an event that's coming up that requires reservations so we use that to gather the reservations but also sometimes we need additional information for this one. We needed a t-shirt size and some things like that so I use them for a number of things. I did one recently more of kind of a fun activity that I did with our staff on pizza toppings. Something that we did kind of an activity together so I use it for kind of a vast majority of a lot of things but mainly together just pertinent information or mainly for reservations for events and those type of things. Yeah Google Forms is specifically best I think just because of its simplicity. I'm not needing anything that's really complicated or has a whole lot of features. I just need something that's simple and straightforward and gives me just the number of options that I need and the layout and the customizations that I can do are enough and easy to do and simple to do in a timely manner. It doesn't require a whole lot of work put into getting it customized and getting it to where I want it to be. Survey Monkey I think would be best for when you're looking maybe for more in-depth and some options when it comes to doing some surveying. In the big picture it definitely has more features and things that you can do but with that though it does require additional pricing that you would have to pay for that but I think if you're looking for more in-depth and being able to customize some questions or features to more of your likings I think Survey Monkey would probably be better for that. Both products were pretty easy to start with. Survey Monkey actually is what I did start with. It was pretty simple in understanding how to do it and layout of forms and putting questions and things together. I think I used it maybe two or three times but then one of the reasons I switched to Google was because we had a Google account and everything that our business was doing was moving in that direction so it just naturally worked that way and even more simple to get started with Google Forms and to understand them and how they work. Everything from templates that you had to choose from or creating your own and just all the files being stored in your Google Drive and in the same place. Very easy to use, very easy to get started with and to understand how to put them together. The top considerations in looking for this kind of software number one for me would just be the price. Google Forms there's no additional price to that and being able to do what I need to do with that so that's just the number one thing for me. Number two I would say is the ease of use being able to put a survey together whether you start with a template and then customize your own or start from scratch. Again those features or customizations are small or limited but it's enough for what I need to do and it's easy to put those together again in a timely manner and to put something out whether you create that through a link or you know put it somewhere on a website something like that. It's very easy to get it out to the people that you need to get it out to and then I would say the third thing is just even a few times been able to collaborate with somebody and working together on that and allowing you even to remotely connect and to customize and to work on putting some kind of survey together.
