How Smokeball Streamlined My Legal Practice and Boosted Efficiency (Full Transcript)

Speaker 1: Smokeball has made growing my practice easier because I'm able to keep in touch with not only the clients but also all my staff members. They're all able to see what exactly is going on so we're not duplicating work and not duplicating work and spending less time on some of the smaller automation things, contacting people has made it much easier for us to focus on actually doing the legal work, which brings in more money, which allows us to hire more people. When I was in practice by myself, I used a lot of Word documents and Excel spreadsheets and it was kind of a little bit here, a little bit there, a little bit on a flash drive, put some stuff in Dropbox. But once I started hiring people, it became really clear that there has to be a better system for keeping track of everything. We were able to really break it down and within, you know, the Anderson matter, we would have, you know, a communicate just for that and it's a lot less that gets lost and you can loop in your billing first, you can loop in your receptionist, you can loop in the people that you needed just for that particular conversation about that particular matter. So it became a lot easier to keep track of things and find things. And then myself and a lot of my employees really love, you can create a task off that communicate message or you can pin it to check out later, you can set a reminder to remind yourself tomorrow morning or in an hour. So a lot of things, it just helped with a lot of things not slipping through the cracks. We are automating everything we can to save ourselves time. One click and all of a sudden you have 25 pages of documents that you need for whatever. It's just putting in that work, the more we do it and the more we realize, oh my gosh, okay, well, we'll carve out this time now, we'll save this time down the line over and over and over again is just great. Smokeball has definitely made my practice more efficient. It has made our clients happier. They are able to get documents that are large or send secure documents. They're able to get text messages, which is more convenient for a lot of people. We get the things a lot quicker and we spend a lot less time on some of the smaller mundane tasks as far as generating documents, send it to the client, get it back quickly. And everything just seems to move along a lot quicker when we're using Smokeball to its maximum.
