Speaker 1: Have you ever been punched in the face by a client with a, hey, the video is great, but can you please change the soundtrack? When you were almost done with the edit, or gotten into endless revision rounds? Well, unfortunately, it's all your fault. But fortunately, I'm going to show you in this video how you can prevent that from happening again in the future. Well, why do I know? My name is Nick Metzger, and I grew my own video agency from zero to over $40,000 per month. And today, I help videographers, video creators, and filmmakers just like you make more money. So let's get right into it. Well, first of all, endless revision rounds and sudden changes like soundtracks don't have to happen. It's all about how you set the expectations for the client. So here's the problem. Most videographers and content creators are desperately trying to get new deals signed because they don't have regular clients, regular premium clients. So therefore, they fail in setting expectations correctly about how the production is going to go down, and they just overpromise different things that the client is going to expect from them at a later point. Now, here's what you should do to not run into this problem. First of all, tell the client how the production is going to go down. Tell them exactly how it works, not just pre-production, production, post-production, but what is happening in each of these three stages. And also tell them that they're going to sign off each of these stages. In example, they're going to sign off the storyboard in pre-production. And once that thing is signed off, it cannot be changed anymore, at least not without additional expenses. And then comes the most crucial part. Tell the client that they have two revision rounds, all right? So revision round number one is for everything, to give feedback to everything about the video that does not differ from the things they have signed off in pre-production. Now, revision round number two is to give feedback to everything that was changed after round one. So they cannot come and say, oh, by the way, we have this thing that we saw now. No, they need to consolidate their feedback. They need to ask all the team members that are involved in making the decision, gather all their feedback for round one, changes are being made, and then typically a round two doesn't even happen. But if it needs to happen, they can only require changes to round one. Obviously, they can still make additional changes, which is totally fine, but they're going to be charged for that. Now, to be honest, I was very scared to implement that process for my own video agency. But once I did, things started to drag on. Things started to drastically change. I expected that I would get less clients because I'm now not promising that much anymore. I'm giving them restrictions. I'm saying, hey, here's the rules. That's how it's going to go down. But to my surprise, what actually happened was that I got more and more clients because of this. And once I started asking them, I started to understand that now, because I do that entire process this way, that they're trusting me more. I sound way more professional. They know exactly what's to be expected, and there are no surprises. The client just knows what's going to happen, and people actually like that. So here's the thing. If you're not going to do anything about this right now, if you just watch this video, you have just wasted a couple minutes of your life. Instead, you should take action, re-watch this video maybe, take notes, and implement it for your own business. Because if you don't, it's just a time waste. But if you don't want to waste your time and you want to make $10,000 a month with your video business, or more, within 60 to 90 days, and get a 100% success guarantee that you're going to get there, then I have something that could be interesting for you. In the description below this video, there is a link to a free video training about the Video Business Academy Consulting Program. With that consulting program, I get videographers just like you to make over $10,000 a month within 60 to 90 days. So go listen in, and who knows, it might be something for you, and we'll see each other on the inside.
