Think of the resident portal as a direct link to your property manager. It's a pretty easy process. Let me share my screen and show you how it's done. Okay, to get started, simply go to our website, mapleleafmgt.com. Select the residents tab to log on to your online portal there. From the main menu, you're going to be able to do things like pay your rent, check on previously opened maintenance requests, or submit a new maintenance request by clicking this blue button. Please keep in mind for emergencies where damage is occurring, or if you have no heat or water, please call our emergency 24-7 hotline at 206-501-3789. Issues with appliances such as dishwasher, oven, laundry or refrigerator, please include a picture of the make, model and serial number. Also, keep in mind, please give us as much detail as possible. It will help us resolve the issue more quickly. Today, we're going to report an issue with the dishwasher. My dishwasher is broken and not draining all the water out. I've checked the filter

I'm going to say I'm available Tuesday in the morning and mid-afternoon and I'm available Wednesday afternoon. And it is pretty much that easy to submit a maintenance request. You'll see on the next screen that you are able to follow everything along in real time. You can see that this is the maintenance order request that we've just submitted. Here's a previously open maintenance request. Here you can check the status. I can see when it was sent to the property manager, when it was assigned to a technician, and when it was scheduled for.
