+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: Welcome. This quick tip will cover how to record and edit an audio transcription from a Zoom meeting. To start, update your cloud recording settings in your ASU Zoom account. Go to asu.zoom.us, click Login, and enter your ASU Zoom account settings. Click Settings from the left menu, then click the Recording tab to the right of Meeting. Locate the Cloud Recording option and make sure the button on the right is clicked blue for On. Next, locate the option Audio Transcript and check it On. This will enable automatic audio transcription when a meeting is recorded. Please note that audio transcription for Zoom recordings will only be automatically processed when recording to the cloud. It is not available when recording locally to a computer desktop. Next, start or join a Zoom meeting. Click the Record icon at the bottom of the Zoom Room screen and select Record to the Cloud. Once the recording for the meeting is finished, end the meeting and wait for the video to process to Zoom's website. Two emails will be sent, one when the recording is finished being processed and another when the transcription is complete. When ready, click on the link in the email or navigate back to asu.zoom.us and go to the Recordings from the left menu. Then click on the desired recording's title link. In the recording's details and files, users may download the transcript by clicking on the file link. To edit the transcription in the recording, click into the video file, review the audio transcription to the right of the video. Click on the pencil icon in the top right corner of a transcript timestamp, type in the correction, and then click Save. Always review audio transcriptions for errors before sharing recordings with others. You've just learned how to record and edit an audio transcription from a Zoom meeting.
