Let's jump into today's topic without any further ado. If you're an educator and need to record lessons for your students, you'll find it very helpful. Today I'll be talking about how to record video lectures for online or remote learning. Before we get into the step-by-step method of how to record live lessons, let's first talk about the benefits of recording lessons for remote learning. There are many benefits of recording lessons for remote and online learning. The most significant benefit is that it allows students to learn from anywhere at any time, not just in a classroom. This means that students can study on their own time when they are the most productive and accelerate their learning process by getting the most out of each lesson. The second most important benefit is that it allows teachers to review lessons before they are recorded and ensure they are clear and concise. With this type of review, teachers know exactly what they will say before they say it, making them more likely to deliver consistent content that students can understand. The third benefit is that recording lessons make it easier for students to get involved in class discussions by allowing them to ask questions after each video lecture so that they can better understand the material being presented. Recording also offers more interactive learning opportunities with fellow classmates who may be in different places at different times, allowing them to work together on projects or assignments that require collaboration between multiple parties. The fourth benefit of recording lessons is that it gives teachers a chance to improve their delivery style by improving their pronunciation and fluency skills, which are often overlooked during pre-recorded lectures. Now that you know the benefits of recording your lessons for remote and online learning, let's move to the how to do it part. One of the best ways you can do it is by using Wondershare Demo Creator, which is a complete screen recording software. Wondershare Demo Creator is quite popular among those teachers and students who are actively engaged in remote learning. Let's take a look at the step-by-step method to not just record the live lesson, but also to edit and share it with others. The first part is to record your lesson using Demo Creator's screen recording tool. Make sure you've got Demo Creator installed on your computer. I'll drop the link in the description so you can download it if you haven't already. In order to record your lesson, you should have prepared a PowerPoint presentation. If not, then open PowerPoint and prepare your presentation for the lesson. Now comes the actual recording part after you've prepared your slides. Open Demo Creator and select one of the recording modes. We'll select Start a Record Project, where you can set everything according to your needs. Make sure your PowerPoint presentation is open. You can see that Demo Creator opens a recording screen where you can set the capture area, audio and webcam video import resource. It automatically detects any connected audio and video sources, whether you're using your computer's built-in devices or external devices. It's recommended to keep your webcam recording enabled to create more interactive lessons. At this point, go to your presentation window and use the Capture Area option to select the custom region. You can move the screen size selector from its edges to widen or shorten the capture area. 5. Now select the screen recording area and hit the Record button. The recording starts after a countdown of 3 seconds. Keep recording your screen until you complete your lesson, and then hit the Stop button or press the F10 button. To pause or resume, press F9. After finishing the recording, it's time to fine-tune your lesson by doing some editing in Demo Creator's built-in editor. Your lesson automatically opens in the editor when you hit the Stop button. You can use different editing options to make your lesson more enjoyable, easy to understand and interactive. One of the options is to add annotations. Go to the Annotations tab here and select the kind of annotation suitable for you. After that, you can add text animation in the effects. Doesn't it look better? More importantly, you can also check Demo Creator's SFX Store to find educational effect packs. Download and apply these effects to make your courses more engaging. At this point, your lesson recording is ready to be shared with your students. Demo Creator lets you do this easily. When you're done with formatting parts and editing, go ahead and click on the Export button. A dialog box will appear and select the format you want for your video, either MP4, GIF or MP3 formats. Give your project a title and confirm again by clicking the Export button. You can upload the footage on YouTube and share the links with your students, or upload it to cloud storage. That's all for today's video. I hope you're now familiar with how to use Demo Creator to record live lessons for remote learning.
