+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: What's up guys, this is Shivay and in this video I will tell you guys how you can transcribe your zoom meeting, that is, make a text file of everything being said in the zoom meeting for free. This way you won't have to actually attend the meeting and you can just read the text or if you want to keep notes of what conversation went on in the meeting then this is a very useful tool for you as well. So before we begin with the video I would just like to tell you guys that if you guys encounter any software related problems then just comment down below or DM us on social media and we'll make a specific solution video for you guys. Now let's begin with the video. So this is a very quick tutorial guys. The first thing you have to do is open up zoom meetings and then go to settings. In settings go to the recording tab and then make sure that you have a checkmark next to record video during screen sharing. Now if you want to transcribe whatever the participants have said in the zoom meeting then you don't have to change anything here but if you want different text files for what each participant have said in the meeting then just select record a separate audio file for each participant who speaks. Now once you're done with the settings then you just have to go and join the zoom meeting which you want to transcribe. After you join that meeting then on the zoom taskbar on the bottom you will see a option to record. Just click on the record button and then select record to this computer and zoom will automatically start the recording. Then once you're done click on the stop recording button and then leave the meeting. After that you have to navigate to the zoom recordings folder on your PC. If you do not know where the recording folder is you can just go to the zoom settings and then again in settings click on the recording tab and here you will find an option for store my recordings at. So just open that file folder and here you will find all the recordings that you have ever done on zoom. Just navigate to the one that you just did and then once you open the file you will find an audio file named as audio only. And if you selected the feature for different audio files for different participants then you will have multiple audio files here. So now what we're going to do is convert these audio files into text using an online software and the software that we're going to use is otter.ai. Now this is the best audio to text software for free as in the free package it offers 600 minutes of audio to text transcribing and it resets every 30 days so you won't run out of words if you're just transcribing zoom meetings to text. Now once you're at otter.ai hashtag not sponsored by the way you just have to click on the import button and then after that just drag or select the file that you want to convert to text and then once the process finishes just go to the my conversions tab and here you can see the audio file transcribed into text. So this was it for this video guys I hope you liked it and this video helped you if it did then just consider giving this video a like and subscribe to the channel and I'll see you in the next video until then bye.
