Speaker 1: Hey everyone, Dustin here. And today I'm going to show you how to upload documents into Clio. So Clio is a case management software that you may be using for your law firm. Hopefully if you are for this video, because I'm going to show you how to use it. So what you'll do is you'll click the matter that you want to upload the document to. Let's say shack attack, right? By the way, I can also search it over here, shack attack, and it will show up. So I can get to the matters that way. So what I'll do is I'll come to documents. And what I'll do is I'll grab the file and I'll drag in the file. I can rename the file name. So let's say this is a depo notice, right? And I could just hit upload and it will upload this to the file. I could do that with multiple, I can drag it in. So what's cool about this is Clio allows me to save this, save as many documents as I want in the file over here. So if I ever want to come back and see what documents are over here, I can come and see this here. I can also create folders. So I can create new folder. And let's say I want this to be defense communications folder, for example, right? I can create that. I could create a court documents folder, right? Things I got from court perhaps, right? And then I can come in here. I could instead upload it to a specific folder, right? Instead of the way I did it. Either way like that, it works. So that's how you upload, rename and upload documents into Clio. Now, if you find yourself doing a lot of this manually and you want to automate some of this process, maybe you're doing like this, then you're adding notes, you're adding calendar entries, task list. And you're doing this over and over for a bunch of different documents. Maybe you have staff that does this and this is their job that they do all day. We created the software's called Legal Ninja where actually automates a lot of this stuff within Clio. So what you can do is you can create a template. So for example, deposition notice. And let's say whenever I get a deposition notice, I always want to call it deposition notice. And I always want to upload it to defense communications folder. So what you do is you create a template. You'll say, whenever I get this, I want to upload it to the defense communications folder. And I also want to rename it to deposition notice, right? And you can do it with this, do a bunch of other stuff. I want to add a calendar entry, custom fields, add a note, generate a task list, do a bunch of stuff within Clio that I want to do consistently, repeatedly. So what you do is you come and you'll save this template. Then whenever you get a specific deposition notice, you'll upload it directly to Legal Ninja. You'll say, use the deposition notice, type in the case matter, and it will preload all these things. You hit submit and it will do all these things. It'll automatically rename the file. It'll upload it to the specific folder that you designated for that matter. In addition to any other thing that you want it to do, it does it automatically like that with one or just a couple of clicks as you're filling in information rather than multiple clicks, clicking everywhere in Clio. So it's a really, really great automation tool. It's saving my law firm right now three times the amount of time and effort for reducing human error. And they're a lot happier because it's saving time on those boring, mundane, repetitive tasks. They can focus on more higher value work like talking to clients, dealing with clients, things like that. So if that interests you, head on over to legalninja.ai and you can sign up and start to run the automations within your own law firm. Please like and subscribe to our channel and I'll talk to you soon.
