Speaker 1: What distinguishes like high potential employees and you know how does upper management like prospective employers identify them? It's not so much about us

Speaker 2: distinguishing and recognizing, it's how you distinguish yourself and how you you know show that you are passionate about learning, willing to take on different things. I always you know tell people how can I make sure that I get you know to do stuff. You know raise your hand, volunteer for something that may be out of your comfort level, but those are the people that really rise to the top and that resonate with senior management. The willingness, the curiosity to learn the business and to not be so narrow in your focus for what you want to do. It's great to say I want to be in sports PR, but I would rather have people that came in and said I want to learn more about this industry, I'm passionate about being a marketer, I'm passionate about working with brands and leveraging sports, because that's somebody that I know we can teach. If you're not teachable and you're not willing to learn and to be open to new experiences, you're going to not resonate as well as some other people coming in.

Speaker 1: Yeah I think there's also something to be said for we've got people in our company that are just phenomenal at what they do to execute this particular event or to run this project and we need those people and they do they do very well, but in some cases I think you have to be willing to go to that next level to not not in this self aggrandizing way, but pick your spots with a thoughtful idea that's kind of out of you know nobody asked you for, but what do you think about this and I think presence in a meeting and and thoughtful commentary or questions is really really important. I think just when you have when you present yourself in a way that that senior manager says you know that person is willing to you know not just speak to be heard, but has a thoughtful question or comment or idea and says it at the right time or presents it at the right time, I think that goes a long way.

Speaker 3: Can I just say one thing quickly? I also think it's about being a solution creator, like making your trying to make leadership's job easier by what you're doing and you know becoming indispensable to the people whom you work for and then the other thing is just you know to Mike's point like being somebody that you want to get stuck at an airport with to some degree you know like being somebody at the office that you're happy to see every day and you enjoy working with.
