Speaker 1: Hey guys, welcome back to another awesome video. Today, we're diving deep into one of the most important aspects of creating visually stunning content with AI. Character consistency. Whether you're crafting engaging images or generating dynamic videos, keeping your characters consistent is key to maintaining that professional, polished look. I'm going to show you the step-by-step process of how you can nail it every time, and trust me, by the end of this, you'll be a pro. Let's kick things off with images. If you're like me and love using AI tools to generate amazing characters, you've probably heard of leonardo.ai. This is one of the most powerful tools out there for generating stunning, high-quality characters. And today, I'm going to show you how to ensure the characters you generate are consistent across multiple images. All right, first things first. Once you're inside leonardo.ai, make sure you select concept art from the preset options. This will give you the best foundation to create the style you want for your character. Now when you're ready, just tap on that generate button. Easy, right? But wait, there's a little secret to making sure your character looks the same across multiple images. This is where things get really exciting. To keep the same facial features and overall look of your character, here's what you do. After generating your character, you'll see this little button with two opposite arrows. This is the image to image feature and it's a game changer. By selecting image to image, you can use your original character image as a guiding reference for all the future images you create. This ensures that the AI keeps the same facial structure, expressions, and even minute details like the hair and eyes consistent across every image you generate. Super cool, right? Now as you keep creating different poses or scenes with your character, the AI will know to reference back to that initial image you used. And if at any point you want to switch things up, you can simply remove the thumbnail that's being used as a guide and the AI will reset for a fresh start. So let's do a quick recap of what we've just covered. Step one, choose concept art in leonardo.ai and generate your character. Step two, use the image to image feature by clicking on the two arrows and uploading the character image you want to stay consistent. Step three, generate new images and enjoy having the same awesome character across every shot. Now let's dive in the second part of the video which is keeping characters consistency in the videos you generate using AI. Now that we've nailed character consistency in images, it's time to level up and talk about how to do the same for videos. If you're generating AI videos, especially with animated characters, keeping the same character across multiple scenes is just as important as it is with images. Here's the secret. Many AI video generation platforms will allow you to input specific character details to make sure the same character is used consistently in each scene. One of my favorite platforms for this is Hailuo.ai Minimax, a super cool and highly realistic AI character generator. This platform is based out of China and it's absolutely amazing for bringing characters to life in a hyper-realistic way. All right, so let's get into it. The first thing you need to do is create an account if you haven't already. Don't worry, I'll leave the link down in the description so you can get started right away. Once you're inside, think about the main character you want to create. For example, let's go with a character named John Smith. He's 22 years old, has brown hair, brown eyes, and bright skin. To make sure your character stays consistent throughout your video, always start your prompts with a detailed description of the character. Something like, John Smith is an American guy, 22 years old, with brown hair, brown eyes, and bright skin. By consistently using this description at the beginning of every prompt, the AI will know to keep using the same character across different scenes. This is essential for making sure your videos have that smooth, professional feel without any weird character changes. Now, let's create a scene with John Smith. Imagine a scenario where John is speaking with his friend and he's smiling while the camera pans to the left. You'd want your prompt to look something like this. John Smith is an American guy, 22 years old, with brown hair, brown eyes, and bright skin. John is speaking with his friend and smiling as the camera pans left. Then, just hit generate and let the AI do its magic. Now it's done, let's see how it looks like. Okay, it looks cool as we have created the details of the character John. Brown hair, brown eyes, and bright skin. After that's done, let's try another scene. But this time, John is angry. We want to show a different side of him while keeping the character visually consistent. So, we'll start with the same base description. John Smith is an American guy, 22 years old, with brown hair, brown eyes, and bright skin. Then, we'll describe the scene. John looks angry and speaks in a harsh tone to his best friend. And just like that, you're ensuring that the character remains the same even though the scene has changed. It may take a few seconds this time because the website makes some feature extraction to the character John from the previous video. Now, the video is done. Let's see. Oh, that's amazing. You see that? John is typically the same in the two generated videos. As we saw, guys, by following this technique, you can switch up your character's emotions, actions, or even the camera angles, and still keep the same core look and feel for the character throughout the entire video. Tips to keep in mind. Always start with a consistent character description. This is crucial to make sure the AI knows what your character looks like, no matter how many scenes you're generating. Be detailed with your prompts. The more specific you are, the better the AI can tailor the character's actions and expressions to match your vision. Check for facial features. If something looks off, make sure to go back and tweak the prompt or regenerate using the same base description, wrapping it up. So there you have it, folks. With these tips and tricks, you're all set to maintain character consistency across both images and videos, making your content look seamless and professional. Whether you're creating AI-generated art for social media, videos for YouTube, or full-blown animations, these techniques will take your creativity to the next level.
