Speaker 1: Juggling multiple social media accounts for a brand can be stressful, and recycling the same content word for word to multiple different channels likely won't translate well. So, how are you supposed to stay sane while balancing multiple social media accounts at once? We're going to be sharing our best practices for balancing multiple channels and accounts so you can multitask without the mayhem. Tip number one, stay organized with a calendar or project management tool. Our first tip is crucial to social media success. To stay on top of campaigns, deadlines, and those brilliant ideas that strike at random, you will need a content calendar to plan ahead. Whether it's a simple calendar mock-up you create on Google Sheets, like this one, or maybe a project management tool like Asana, you will need a way to organize your plans for each social media channel that you plan to post to. If you're starting from scratch, here are some things you'll want to include. Dates, each social platform, key upcoming dates for holidays, product launches, or collabs going live, and a spot for storing your notes and links. There's no one right way to organize your content calendar. Just make sure it's set up in a way that makes the most sense for you to keep on top of things. Tip number two, prioritize the platforms that make the biggest impact on your goals. Our second tip is about checking your priorities. You might want to be active on every channel, but you need to be strategic about where you can make the most impact on your overall goals, especially if you are just one human being. For example, at Later, we regularly publish content to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. But we also regularly conduct audits on how our content is performing on each channel. So here's an example. We've recently been experimenting with publishing more casual, shareable content to LinkedIn, and it has resulted in a big increase in our engagements and follower growth. Since the strategy has been paying off for us, we've reduced our publishing cadence on Twitter to give us more space to publish twice a day to LinkedIn because this is where we are currently seeing the biggest traction in hitting our overall quarterly engagement and follower growth goals. The key takeaway from this is to try to resist creating more work for yourself. Spend more time on channels that are currently giving you the most traffic or engagement or reaching your overall goals. And this will likely change throughout the year. Pay attention to your analytics so you can maximize your results with the same amount of effort. Tip number three, repurpose your content to maximize engagement. Our next tip is all about repurposing your content. It can be incredibly time-consuming to come up with a great idea and execute it, so why not make sure you're getting the most mileage out of every piece of content? For example, if you create a TikTok, consider also sharing it on Instagram Reels, maybe YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest. We've even been sharing an occasional video to LinkedIn with great results as well. Just be thoughtful about how the content will translate to your different audiences as not everything will. You can also save yourself time by repurposing your best-performing posts that you haven't shared in a while. We are always surprised by how well something performs on the second go-around too. We all know that attention spans are short and not everybody sees your content, so don't overthink reposting your own content more than once on occasion. Tip number four, automate repetitive tasks. Next up, make automation your best friend, especially for repetitive tasks. Whether it's setting up automated replies on Instagram to frequently asked questions or using a tool like Zapier to automate some of your weekly tasks, keep an eye out for opportunities to save time in your routine in the long run. And speaking of automation, in case you missed it, you can now schedule and auto-publish your Instagram stories with Later. This is a game changer of getting back time, especially on your weekends, and still staying consistent with getting out content. Tip number five, use a social media scheduling software that publishes to multiple channels in one go. And you probably knew this one was coming, but our last tip is to use a social media scheduling software that publishes to multiple channels at once. With Later, you have a media library where you can organize your images and video content and an easy-to-toggle navigation to schedule to different social media platforms. You can save your common CTAs and hashtags with our Saved Captions feature and even calculate when your best times to post are based on AI and analyzing your previous posts. Scheduling your content in advance while utilizing time-saving and engagement-boosting features is a no-brainer when you're looking to publish to multiple channels or even manage multiple clients. Let us know if you have any time-saving tips that help you juggle multiple social media accounts in the comments below. And if there are any features you'd love to see Later add in the future to make your workflow easier. Until next time, I'll see you later. Microsoft Mechanics www.microsoft.com www.microsoft.com
