Speaker 1: Hey guys, today we are going to talk about Prezi. So first of all, Prezi is a presentation tool that zooms in on your presentation or a multimedia presentation. For engaging presentation, Prezi is the best choice. We will cover how to use it and how to integrate it into the classroom as well as tutorials on specific tools like this one. But for now, let's talk about how to create a Prezi account and how to use it. So first of all, we will have to sign up. So on the top right, you are seeing the option of get started. So when we click on that, we will be redirected to the signup page. So you can enter your first name, last name, email address and the password. So after you have signed up, you can directly go to the Prezi homepage and when you log into Prezi for the first time, this page will appear. Up here, you can view some of your profile settings and you can also unlock features. It's not too expensive and they do offer discounts for educators. So if you would like to upgrade, click on this button over here. And if we look over to the left, you can see a Prezi video, Prezi design and Prezi present. Prezi present is the basic of the platform and if we go down to the library, you can find some of the preloaded presentations that you can save and use. So next, you can see that you can create folders even with the free version. So you can organize some of your presentations. This is one they give you to get familiar with the platform before you create your own. When you click the create button, this page will appear. This is the template page. You can choose one of these templates to start creating your presentation. You can't delete it, but it is nice to practice before you create your own. So let's get started. This template is great foundation for whatever presentation you want to create. Over here, you can select from different topics of templates now. You can view how it looks before you pick it up and use it. Next, you need to title your presentation. It will be public because the people I share it with are a premium feature. But if you don't want to do that, the next time if you hit continue, you will see the entire presentation. Prezi is a zoom in presentation tool. So when the presentation comes up, this will be the home or overview page. And then over here on the left, you can see different layers. And if you go over here, this will show you how to return to this overview page. So let's zoom out of one of those layers. And here you can see that it has layers within it. So you can start editing the text by clicking, editing it however you want, and changing the picture by double clicking this picture. When you double click on this, you can choose any picture you want and it will load into that spot. And then this is yet another layer. So if you double click on it here, we will go back to the homepage to see a little bit of the editing options. So you can pick the background style, right? Rather than hexagons, they have a whole bunch of shapes that you can choose from to make them more personalized. It's not just the template that you choose next for the style tab. You have the topic shapes. This again allows you to customize your presentation. So it's not just the template. Alternatively, you can change the colors of the presentation to something you like. So instead of purples, you can choose grays, blues, and this color scheme. Or you can just change the entire color scheme all at once rather than using this template palette. You can create your palette of colors. In the style tab, you can choose your preferred color and create your one. There is also a style called textile that breaks down the title and body text. So you can choose which ones you would like to go together and you can also create your own if you prefer this one. As you can see in the image above, these lines represent the flow of the topics. So if you want to make it flow, then you should bring this one over to the right. If you like, you can also add another topic to this page. As you click through your presentation, it will move across. You can also add story blocks, text, and images. If you hit text or any of these media tools, it will insert it on the page you are currently on. Once you have added the image or text to the text you have shared, make sure you are where you want it to be. You can then share the link with other people or record a video again. If we look at this slide, you can change the layout so that it appears as you wish. The layout button up here allows you to add other images. You can also change the alignment. If you would like to make your topics a little bit different, so that's how you edit some of your topics. So, again, it's quite simple, and for educational purposes or other purposes, and to create presentations, or should I say engaging presentations, Prezi is undoubtedly one of the best softwares or undoubtedly one of the best websites to create your presentations.
