Speaker 1: I'm Yuri Glikin. I've done business development and strategic commercial deals for over 20 years. I've worked in the startup world, including one that was sold to Expedia, MSN, Booking.com, and a variety of other brands. I currently work for Fiverr, which is the global leader in freelance marketplaces, and I look after their strategic business and partnerships across the Oceania region. I'm really excited to be developing and teaching the strategic business partnerships course with Elevator. I think the course is really designed to provide students with an understanding of the types, the nature, and the business cycle of creating successful, meaningful, and long-lasting partnerships in the corporate world. And I really think that that is a vital aspect of doing business anywhere in the world, doesn't matter where you come from. The course will present concepts and frameworks and case studies to help students really hone their knowledge and skills in the various stages of how a partnership works, of the life cycle, how to launch a partnership, and very importantly, how to maintain and to grow a partnership. Finding the best way to start and develop a commercial discussion all the way through from the very beginning to the very end, and an important aspect of that will be the kind of individuals that you're talking to and how to deal with various scenarios there, and really acquire basic practical knowledge in key facets of the commercial partnership creation process. Negotiating techniques, what to look out for, analytics, how to review a partnership, whether it's successful or not. We will have a couple of lectures in the course that deal with cultural differences and how to feed those into negotiating skills and having the right discussion to help the deals materialize, move forward, because that process varies quite substantially between, let's say, North America, Middle East, Asia, and even Australia, and it's an important aspect to consider. Really excited to be a part of this, really hoping that you'll be part of this as well, and looking forward to teaching and working with all of you guys really soon.
