Speaker 1: You're here with the Woo Ninjas, your trustworthy team of WordPress e-learning and WooCommerce experts. So today we're going to jump in and share with you a guide on all the different third party tools that you can actually integrate with LearnDash. So as many of you know, LearnDash right here is a popular learning management system, LMS, maybe the most popular on WordPress, which is where most of the internet is built, all the websites around the web. So it offers a very robust platform for creating and managing online courses, and it gives you full creative control. It's a standard on its own, LearnDash is a great tool. However, when you pair it with other integrations from other third party tools, you can do a lot of great, amazing content that LearnDash alone can't do. Some of these integrations include WooCommerce, which is the main e-commerce and shopping plugin for WordPress, Zapier for connecting all sorts of different sites and integrations to your LearnDash page, Slack for communication, and XAPI, which is a great API platform. So these integrations provide numerous benefits to users ranging from streamlined e-commerce functionality, like with WooCommerce, to enhanced and automated workflows, and to also improved learner data tracking. All the different little elements of LearnDash that you may want fixed or improved are able to be fixed and improved with all these integrations. So in this video, we're going to explore the LearnDash integrations with these different tools and services, and the possibilities of actually using all these integrations with your LearnDash site. So there are many possibilities with integrating third party tools with LearnDash, as we just discussed. So integrating these third party tools actually opens up a world of many different possibilities from enhancing the actual functionality, improving customization, and also improving the customer experience of the LMS, the learning management system of LearnDash right here. So in this video, we're going to go through a lot of these different integrations and share some of the possibilities for integrating these tools within LearnDash. And all you have to simply do is go to LearnDash, scroll down to integrations, click on it, you can see just a couple of the many different integrations they have, free, premium featured. So we're going to just go over a few of them that are here and a few others that are not included and dive in a little deeper of the power of these integrations. All right, number one on our list is e-commerce integration. This is WooCommerce right here, this page. And integrating LearnDash with WooCommerce enables the creation of a dedicated site and store to sell courses, manage payments, offer discounts, and handle course enrollment and access. It provides a really good interface and shopping experience for people just shopping around on courses. Maybe you sell quite a few different courses, maybe you offer coaching, maybe you offer one-on-one sessions, one-to-many sessions, you offer availability in your calendar. WooCommerce is the tool that allows you to sell all these different possibilities. And of course, it allows you to integrate with LearnDash. And that's one of the most powerful elements is if you're doing something more than just selling one thing, selling a few things, it's a great tool to integrate into your LearnDash system. Number two is automation and workflow enhancement. And what this is, is Zapier, it's probably a tool you've heard of many times before and if you haven't used it, you should. It automatically streamlines the connection between other third-party tools with LearnDash among doing so many other things. So if you were to look at this site, it just shows you it allows you, for example, build custom workflows, you do something with ChatGPT, then it goes into Slack and then adds it to an actual document. In our case, we won't necessarily do this, but we can do other things in terms of connecting workflows, maybe a ChatGPT or a Slack automation or a Google Doc automation with our LearnDash and we can do so much more. It also gives you a variety of different recipes that you can do to show the power of using Zapier. And you do wonder if it actually does integrate with LearnDash. It absolutely does. It allows, LearnDash does, LearnDash does support Zapier integration and you might need a Zapier premium account, but it goes into a little bit more detail in this document. All you have to do is search LearnDash.com, Zapier, and it'll tell you exactly how to do it, a little beyond the scope for this video. So let's jump into section number three. So section number three is communication and collaboration. Yes, you can do more communication and collaboration than just text messaging, phone calls. The gold standard these days for business or B2B internal talking or talking between your team is Slack. And yes, you can integrate Slack with your LearnDash plugin. LearnDash is great. It offers free and paid plans. The great thing about the free plan is it does a great job. And if you do want to do the paid plan, you can do that as well too. It really is good for building projects, having teams communicate. So how does this integrate with LearnDash? Well, there's a very easy Slack integration, which also allows you different triggers from everything from getting notified for quiz completions, quiz passing, quiz failure, course expiration, everything can then be broadcast to your Slack from LearnDash. So that's a great integration to have in your LMS. Okay, so number four is content authoring and delivery. So one very popular tool for actually creating workplace learning is Articulate360. It's the industry leading creator platform for workplace learning. So this is actually a great tool. Many companies are using it. And what it allows you to do is actually build the course within here and then seamlessly integrate it into LearnDash as the way you're actually broadcasting the course has a very good user interface, allows it to size into each device and seamlessly works anything on a tablet, an Android, an iPhone, or even a desktop or laptop. So this can also be integrated with LearnDash a little bit more. If you go into their community.articulate, they share with you a quick breakdown of how to actually implement these. They're very responsive. Articulate course in LearnDash, you can bring it right over so you can have everything in one central place, LearnDash, which could be your main LMS. So let's move on to using H5P integrating for LearnDash courses. So with H5P, it enables the creation embedding of interactive and engaging content types such as quizzes, presentation, interactive videos, and more. You can see on the LearnDash site, LearnDash supports. And you can see on the LearnDash site that LearnDash seamlessly supports the use of H5P for engaging LearnDash courses. It actually improves it. It allows features like flashcards, charts, presentations, memory games, things that are just not natively available on LearnDash to really enrich the learning experience. And if you haven't heard of H5P before, go to their site, h5p.org, to learn a little bit more about their, about how they really help you create interactive HTML5 content in your web browser, and then you can broadcast it on LearnDash. Okay, section five is video conferencing and webinars. Many of you have heard of Zoom, and it can be integrated with LearnDash. And with this Zoom integration, it allows you to schedule and manage live virtual classes, webinars, and video conferencing sessions directly within the LearnDash platform. And I've seen Zoom used in amazing ways from video chat rooms to breakout sessions. And it really allows you to, in a live form, level up the quality of your course or your education. Moving on to the other tool that's out there is BigBlueButton. So this integration with BigBlueButton provides a built-in virtual classroom solution. Really interesting. Allowing instructors to conduct live sessions, share documents, engage in video conferencing, and facilitate interactive whiteboarding. That's one of the powers of BigBlueButton. Number six is gamification and engagement. Remember, getting someone to pay for one of your courses or start a free course is just the first step. The second step is to actually get them to finish and be engaged in the process. And that's what gamification plugins help with. Integrating gamification plugins such as this one, BadgeOS, or even GameyPress with LearnDash really allows you to implement reward system, badges, points, leaderboards, and achievements to increase learner motivation and engagement. If you're not engaged and if you're not competing, a lot of times people don't put as much effort into your courses. So check out these two plugins or integrations to use in your LearnDash site to really level up the engagement. This is BadgeOS and this is GameyPress. Number seven is analytics and reporting. So it's only one thing to get people to take your course, go through the process, but analytics and reporting is where you actually get to learn what's working, what's not, and how to actually improve your course and increase the speed of people finishing and the actual speed of the actual course delivery. So you can do integrations with Google Analytics. This provides really deep insight into learner behavior, the course performance, the traffic sources that actually come to your course to pay for it, and other valuable metrics aiding in really data-driven decision-making and course improvement. So this is the specific plugin for LearnDash Analytics, but also this is actually Google Analytics backend, which is absolutely great to have running on your site at all times. Let's not forget TinCanLaunch. So TinCanLaunch is a lightweight XAPI implementation allowing for tracking and reporting of learner interactions and experiences across these different platforms and tools. So also a great tool to use for this analytics reporting of your actual learners and students on your courses. All right, number eight is payment gateways. Remember, if you're not getting paid for your courses, you probably won't be in the course game for very long. So it's always important to have a very clean and easy way for people to pay so they're actually willing to pay. So it's very good to have a very clean and seamless way for them to pay to remove the friction of getting payments for your courses. So this is both Stripe integration. So Stripe allows a very seamless and secure payment processing for selling courses, subscriptions to, and other e-commerce transactions within LearnDash. And moving over here, there's also a native integration for PayPal. PayPal, as many of you know, enables learners to make payments through their PayPal account. Maybe they have some funds sitting there. And it gives this flexibility and convenience when purchasing courses, especially in a variety of different currencies. So remember, it's always important to have solid payment gateway integrations as well. In summary, there's a variety of LearnDash integrations you can actually use to improve your LMS learning management system experience for your students. And we're going to go back over them. There was eight of them we went over. Number one was e-commerce integration with WooCommerce. Number two was automation workflow enhancement with Zapier. Number three was communication and collaboration with Slack. Number four was content authoring with Articulate Storyline and H5P. Number five was video conferencing and webinars with Zoom and BigBlueButton. Number six was also the gamification to keep people actually engaged and productive on your courses with a variety of different gamification plugins like BadgeOS and GameyPress. Not to mention interactive quizzing is also very important. Number seven is analytics and reporting. The gold standard these days is Google Analytics. And also we can use TinCanLaunch which focuses on user and learner interactions. And this won't be finished if we weren't able to get any money. So number eight is payment gateways such as Stripe and PayPal. Not to mention all these other ones in the LearnDash integrations tab on their site. Check it out if you want to learn every single integration they do have. So in summary, the versatility of LearnDash combined with a vast array of available tools and services offer endless opportunities for customization, automation, collaboration, and enhancing the overall e-learning experience.
