Speaker 1: Okay, one of the best ways for you to make moolah, cash, dinero, income from your podcast is once you have a successful audience growing is to develop a membership where those who are really interested in your topic can get even more of your content. And the way to do it within a podcast, I think, is to give them more of what they really love already, which is audio content. So you need some sort of platform that can give you a paid membership sort of functionality that's easy to use, where people can make donations that are recurring month to month, and they get the perks of being in your membership. I'm going to introduce you to Supercast, which I did in a previous video. This one is going behind the scenes into the dashboard to show you some of what's going on behind the scenes in Supercast. All right, let me get myself out of the way here. This is your landing page. We looked at this in a previous video that you can send people to. Now I want to go to the dashboard, all right? Here is the podcast dashboard for Supercast. You have all kinds of options over here. You can look at your monthly revenue. Let me show you here. This particular podcast, this MRR is monthly recurring revenue. This is new monthly recurring revenue. Turned means people who have dropped and then net new monthly recurring revenue. So it's this number minus this number equal this number, all right? So you can see this podcast is making $2,300 a month from the revenue that's coming in for memberships. You can go right here and check out your subscribers, and it's going to show you how many subscribers. You can see where they are right here. It's going to load a geographic distribution to show you where those people are. It's going to show you the operating system that they're using, which is still loading as well. And then recent subscribers is down here. I'm not going to show you all these people and their email addresses because that just wouldn't be cool. But anyway, you see, you can manage the whole thing. Then you can go here to episodes and you can see stats on your episodes, how many have been downloaded, how many of those were unique, meaning the same person did not download on two devices. It's just counting that as one because it's the same person. And then it will show your top episodes, what the titles are, when they publish, what the download numbers are. All that's really cool. This is all just your dashboard view. And you also can go here to your episode view. This is where you publish new episodes. See? You can click the new episode button and just like most media hosts, it's going to take you to a page where you put in a title, description, set your publication date. You can feature the episode so that it's showcased on your podcast landing page so new people can see it. You can decide which plans this goes out to or all of them. I usually send everything to all of them. You can include YouTube video URLs for people who subscribe as well. Language, clean, explicit, all that stuff. You can create the episode just like normal. All right? Let me show you some other things here in the episode thing. You go on down, see it's got every episode you've ever done. It's really cool. You can look at personalized episodes. Now this is a really cool thing you can do. You can one time create personalized little audio clips that go out to new members or when some predetermined thing happens to a membership. Let me show you. This is a new member welcome. I created an audio that goes out immediately after sign up and it says hooray, puts in their first name and then says you're a Morning Mindset partner and they're going to hear something from me welcoming them to be part of the partnership. It's really cool. This is a payment issue. If there's something that happens where there is an issue renewing their subscription, there's an audio that goes out from me saying, oops, name, it appears something's wrong. It just kind of helps keep people from churning out of the membership. This is if they unsubscribe their membership, they're going to get a quick message that's saying thank you for your faithful support, I wish you well, that sort of thing. And then down here, you can create new personalized messages. You can also use Zapier's API to connect with Supercast and make auto messages go out when different things happen. It's just a really, really cool, thoughtful sort of a thing. Now that landing page that we looked at earlier, this is where you set it up, all right? You're able to enter your header content, you're able to enter your artwork, you're able to show a video instead of your artwork, which is what I chose to do. If you remember, there's this video, that's where you do that. That's all landing page stuff. You can look at the member page, which is, this has to do with the different levels of support, okay? Here's a description of the five month thing, a 10 month thing, a $10 thing, a $25 thing, a $45 thing. You see, and this is the email welcome message that goes out to them the moment that they sign up. And you can customize the messages by the plan types, which is what I did, instead of using just the same message for every one. Because I give away some other stuff. You see, I include some links there for people that I can tell I need to update, because I don't use Dropbox anymore. So anyway, you see how this works. This is really cool. Really cool stuff you can do. Okay, so subscriptions. This is where you're going to see all your users, all your partners. I'm not going to click into it because I don't want to show you all the names and email addresses, because again, that would not be cool. But you can keep track of every person, connect with them personally, all that sort of stuff, which by the way, Apple's subscription thing does not allow you to do. This is all just super cool. Donations. Same thing, I'm not going to click in there, but you can see who's donating, how much, what plan they're on, if there's any problems going on, all of that. This is your plans. This is the different tiers of your membership, and you can reorder them to show up on the page at the same time. You can archive plans, which I've done before. You can have unlisted plans that you can hand out to people individually if they ask, but it won't be commonly known that it's available. Really thoughtful. Really thoughtful. Okay, this ask me anything section is where you will respond to questions that come in through the ask me anything portion of the Supercast dashboard. Now I'm not going to click in there because again, you'll see some email addresses and names and things like that, that I don't want to do. Same thing. You can do reports, creators. You can set up team members to help you with things and invite them so they have access to Supercast as well. And then you can set up roles for those people, which gives varying levels of privileges to get in. And then there's advanced settings. You can create a custom domain, notification preferences, payments, import your podcast, and this all works through Stripe. So your payments come in through Stripe. Okay, let's talk about the cost. I'm going to go over here to the membership page for Supercast, where you can set up your own account with membership, and I'm going to click on pricing because you can set up custom plans if you have a very large audience, but most people are going to use this. And look at this, Supercast takes $0.59 per member per month. So let's do the math on that. If that's a $5 thing, you're getting $4.41. Supercast is getting a tiny little chunk. That doesn't matter how much the subscription is for or the membership is for. So if it's $1,000 a month membership, somebody signs up to give you $1,000 a month, Supercast still only gets $0.59. Now you will also pay processing fees to Stripe. I don't know exactly what that is, but it's something like 2.9% plus $0.50 per transaction. So that's going to come out as well. But regardless, this is an amazing value for all the bells and whistles that you get. And it is so easy for people to sign up. People, if you're looking for a membership platform for your podcast audience, Supercast is the one. Man, I love it. I've got a couple of clients who are using it. I just hear nothing but good about it. This is the way to go if you're going to monetize your audience through a membership. Now one last thing to be said, when the payments come in for your clients, you can set it up to come to you from Stripe on a daily basis so you can get money coming in, trickling in all throughout the month simply because you're using Supercast. So if you want to try Supercast, I've got an affiliate link in the description for this video. I would appreciate it if you use it. You will love the platform.
