There are a lot of amazing tools out there that can help you schedule and automate your social media content. I understand that each tool will appeal to a different person, depending on what your needs are. As of today, I have tried about seven different social media scheduling tools. And the one I'm going to show you in this video is my favorite of the seven. And yes, this is a free tool. So let's get that out of the way right now. Yes, this is free. The tool we're about to dive into and I'm going to show you on my laptop is a tool called Metricool. If you're a regular here on my channel, you've probably already heard me talk about Metricool multiple times because I'm a big fan. I truly believe it's a great all-in-one social media scheduler since it's approved for all social media platforms. So I know that anyone who is watching this video right now, whether you're an influencer, entrepreneur, social media manager, business owner, you can absolutely benefit from them. So I talk about Metricool here in this video, where I share with you all the different tools that you could use to create a content calendar from scratch. We're going to jump into my account. This is what it looks like when you log into your account. So I already have all of my platforms synced up. When you create yours, you won't have the statistics or analytics yet. You'll have to sync your social media platforms first, and then the analytics will come the longer you have your account activated. So you have like your Instagram analytics, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, all the things. But this video, as excited I am about all of the features, because I could literally dive into all the features of downloading your analytics report, running ads, doing smart links, all the things. I could sit here and brag about all of the amazing features Metricool has, but that's not what this video is about. This video is about planning and automating your posts. So let's do that first. We're going to go here to planning. This is where you will have your calendar view. You can choose how to view your calendar, whether you want it to be day, week, or month. Let me see if I can zoom out. Cool. I prefer to look at the month view because then I could see the overview of all of my content. Right now we're at the end of April. So for this video, I am going to plan content. A fun feature that they have when you're in week view is the color coding. So right here, it says best time on, and then it shows the kind of the key, the lighter, the color, the worse it is. And the deeper the color, the better it gets for a better time to post. So you can alternate between Facebook or Instagram, whichever platform you're posting to. And it's going to give me a suggestion of the best time to post for my account. I know for me earlier, the better, and that's why my social media manager or the person who posts to my Instagram account, I hired them to be on the East coast because this is in my local time, LA time. Looks like the best time to post is going to be around 6am pretty consistently. Because I'm sleeping at 6am, I have my social media manager. She's on the East coast. That's 9am her time. So 9am, she will post that'll be 6am for me. Looks good. You also have the day view. It'll also show what is the best time to post in the day view. It does not have that in the month view because you're overlooking everything. But first thing we're going to do is create a post. Now I'm going to create my post from literally my content calendar. Uh, we have our content calendar here, calendar view. We're in April, but we need to start scheduling out May's content. So on May 2nd, it's how to make money with affiliate marketing as an influencer. This has already gone back and forth and I have it in approved and ready to post. So my graphic creator, this is my social media coordinator. She coordinates all social media content. I'm going to download all of these files. Cool. Then we're going to go here. I want to do a feed post and you can select like if you want to post to all platforms, you can maximize your efficiency by scheduling one post to post to all platforms in one go. But I don't typically post to Facebook. I don't typically post a feed post to TikTok. So I'll just keep this carousel for Instagram and Pinterest. Let's do the caption. This is what it'll look like. I want to make sure there's spaces and it looks a little wordy. I'm going to get rid of that to save some characters. Cool. Something like that. And then let's upload the content. Cool. So it is out of order when I upload it. So I want to drag and drop it so that it is in the correct order. So I'm just going to do this. How to make money with affiliate marketing. This is number one, number two, number three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 24. Okay. How to make money with affiliate marketing. One, two, three, four, go back to this post, comment below. Perfect. So that's the correct order. Everything looks good. You can select publish now or also you can adjust the view so you can see what it would look like here, but I don't want it to publish now. I want to schedule this post for May 2nd and we're going to do AM. The suggested time was slightly before six, so we're going to do 555 AM. That sounds like a good time. Perfect. And then auto publish is on. We're removing Pinterest because with Pinterest, I forget one image is best and they have a caption limit. So this is just going to be an Instagram feed post. Okay. And then a really cool feature that they have is once I have everything uploaded, this is what it looks like as the post, what it'll, people will come across, but you could also switch to feed view and this is what it, what it will look like in your feed. So it looks like if this one was next, it would be blue on blue, which I don't think this one is this one next. Ooh. So that's something that I would want to consider. I'm not a fan of doing blue on blue. So I might want to switch out this to the number four. Cause yeah, this is brown. I like the brown a little bit better. So I might move this one to the fourth and then schedule the next one for the second. So let's save. And while that's saving, I'm going to get this one ready for the second calendar, create post. We're going to do Instagram this, and then the secret will help you go viral. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. We're going to do these seven. Yeah, that's better. What will the post one? Make sure it's an order results. Perfect. It's an order. The caption looks great. It's on auto-publish. We want this for the second, which is what we decided we're going to do. Why not six, six AM and then auto-publish, but then we would press save and it would auto post. And then we would be able to see for May 2nd. This one would be on May 2nd post. For example, except when we go to a preview feed, once you have all of your stuff scheduled onto the month that you're scheduling, it's going to show you what all of those posts together will look like in your feed, which is something that's really helpful for me. Cause I'm pretty particular about like the colors. I know it's not like everybody has to do that, but for me, that's just something I'm nitpicky about. Once you have all of your content scheduled onto the calendar, it's going to color code it for you. So at the bottom left, you see what the color coding or the key, the legend, whatever you want to call it. This one is blue. So this one is a pending post. If I didn't have it scheduled, I just wanted to save it as a draft. It would be light gray published with errors from auto list. So if there's, if there's anything wrong and like the post, isn't going to go up, it'll let you know, Hey, there's an error in this one. Make sure to fix this. I will say because a common question that I get asked a lot with Instagram is what sort of content can you auto post? Because there's a difference between scheduling posts and putting posts to auto post for you. The difference schedule, you can schedule it on a calendar, but when it comes time to post, you have to go put in everything, press post you're there live engaging with the content. Whereas auto posting means you could be asleep, fast asleep, taking a nap, eating food in the shower, wherever. And the system is going to auto post for you. So you don't have to, it goes live without you having to press that live button. What sort of content can you auto post right now? You can only auto post in feed content, like graphics, photos, carousel images, some Instagram video, not reels right now there. If you're somebody like, how do I auto schedule Instagram reels? There is no tool as of today, as of today, I'm sure this will change in the future. But as of today, when filming this, there are no tools that will auto post reels for you. It's not even in the Instagram creator studio itself. So if Instagram creator studio does not have that capability, nobody's got that. What they do have though, is something called manual posting, where you can schedule it into your feed. So you can see what the feed layout would look like. But when it comes to that day, that time you still have to post live. So I can schedule a video here, save it. So I could see what the overall calendar would look like if that were to auto post, but on day of I'm there, I'm live, I'm posting. And same thing goes for stories. Now I know this video was mainly about scheduling and automating your Instagram posts, but as you could see up top, you can schedule an auto post on other platforms as well. So you can do it all in one where if you have a photo or a graphic feed post, I have this graphic that's coming up this one. It's not finalized, but just for an example, TikTok has to be video. Cool. So I could post this onto three places at one time. I'm going to do blah, blah, blah. We'll schedule it for this date, auto publish Pinterest. You're going to do that drop down. You're going to select a title, Instagram, motivational quotes, done is better than perfect, right? That's kind of the vibes. And then I select a board. I think there's like a Instagram one or quotes for female entrepreneurs. Perfect. And then when I save this, you'll see the icons here. You'll see that this one is scheduled to post for Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. Now I showed you all this on my laptop because I prefer to schedule out all of my content on my computer, separate my phone and personal life from my work. But if you're somebody who does prefer to use your phone and maybe you don't have a laptop that functions very fast, I've been there. They do have an app. Metrical does have an app. So you could download the app and schedule all of your content through the Metrical app. So there you have it.
