Speaker 1: Hi, this is Tara from Simple Day and I'm on a mission to make productivity simple using monday.com. Today I wanted to show you how you can set up a number of boards to manage projects. So there's three kinds of boards that we have set up over here. You can see we have a projects overview board, we have the individual project boards, and then we have a project template. So we have three separate kinds of boards. Now I'm going to start with the project overview board. This board basically is a bird's eye view of all of your projects. So you can see I have my current projects and another group I've completed projects. I have the overall status. These specific projects have three steps to them. So you can see that I'm tracking the progress, the overall progress of each product. We have timelines and here they link to the individual projects. And you can see that I have an estimated time and then I have an actual time pulled in. These are just mirror columns over here and this projects column is a connected boards column. Now what happens is that let's just say I have a new project, so I will add project six. Okay, and I can go in and add the details. I can add the timeline. Let's just give it the month of December and obviously nothing started here. And what I would do is if I would go here and click contract signs. So what's going to happen is you'll see that it created a new project for me. So now I have projects number six over here. It showed up in my projects board. Now I need to make sure that it's connected, that the connected column is connected here. So that way it will pull the information. So let's we're just going to add it because it's not connected. So we're going to add in project six, add it to this board. I'm going to click connect boards. Now I'm just going to check my, that it's connected to the status column. And here I want to check that it's connected to the time tracking. So it's connected to time tracking. So now what I need to do is I need to go into project six and I want to set an item default value. What's going to happen here, it's connected to item one. This is just because it was in the template. So I'm going to clear this. Sorry. And I'm going to connect it to project number six. So what's going to happen now is anytime I add an item, it's going to automatically connect to that main board. It's going to link up, see it linked to that project six. And let's just say I'll add a status and I'll add a few seconds of time tracking. So what happens if I go back here? So we see we have project number six, now see it's automatically connected to this item, pulled in the time tracking and it's automatically connected. The one automation that I have set up here is when overall project changes to contract signs that I'm going to create a board from template. And this template is my project template. So if I would want to change any of my project boards moving forward, I would want to change them on the template, not on the individual board. And then any new board that is created is going to have the new template. So as you can see, this is just a super easy way to manage all of your projects. You can keep track of the time, how much your estimated time is your actual time and the overall status by these three status columns over here and the progress in a nice, really easy, clear way to view.
