Speaker 1: In this video, I'm going to show you how to use Asana to create a marketing plan. So first thing you're going to want to do is hit that little plus sign and you're going to want to create a blank project. From there, you can name the project marketing plan and then I like to select calendar view and that is going to create a brand new project and that's going to be all of your marketing efforts. So once it's created, you can actually change the color, set the icon, and you can change the name just by clicking up here and hitting edit project details, but we'll leave it as marketing plan. So the first thing I want you to do is to make sure you plot any important dates, okay? So maybe you do an event on the last Wednesday of each month. So you would come into Asana and say event and maybe it's an ask me anything event. So once we have that in, I'm going to open it. You can assign it to whoever I like to assign things to myself and then one other thing I want you to do is to add a tag and we are going to create a tag for important dates. Create the tag and give it a color. So we first every single month need to input important dates, okay? So make sure that those are priority. You might have one on the 25th. You might need to make this a reoccurring event. So if it's set to repeat, let's do yearly on the 25th of the month or you can do the last on the last day of the month, whatever it is, okay? So we've got that in there and you can include any event details, but at least that now we can build out our content around this monthly event. So then we're going to go ahead and based on our marketing avenues, we're going to start inputting what we need to do. So you can see here I've written Instagram story. Every Monday, we post an Instagram story and it's a Monday motivation. So let's let that reoccur every single Monday and we will assign it to ourself. What I like to do is always break things into week one, week two, week three, week four in case they're different. So maybe your motivation on Mondays is about mindset, your motivation on the next week is about lifestyle. Next one is about food, whatever the case is. So you know that the first Monday of the month, you're talking about mindset and your Monday motivation. So that takes care of Instagram stories. Instagram feed, we'll call that different. Maybe you want to post on your Instagram feed every single Tuesday. So you can see here it's reoccurring every Tuesday. And instead of writing out week one, week two, you might also try this. You can have an ideas tab. So idea would be the three books I've been loving. Maybe another one is fun facts about keto diet exercises you can do while pregnant. So you're just writing ideas. And then when you have time, you're going to come write some captions. So maybe you do caption for three books posts. So you'd actually write out the caption here, and you can kind of keep this as a reoccurring diary. So we've got that. And we know that as soon as we check it off, look at this, and it's gone. And it's going to populate for next week. Okay, so one week at a time, you're going to see all your content. When you check things off, they move to the next week. So unfortunately, you can't see them all at once. That's one of the faults of the sauna, but you guys kind of get the point. You might on Wednesdays send out emails to one of your visionary dream client audiences. So maybe week one email is a mindset tip. Week two email for this audience is always a science lesson. And week three is a fitness tip. And then maybe week four is a monthly roundup, where you share an email that has all the tips in one and a recap. So now you know what you need to write every single email for Wednesday. And then maybe you have another audience group. Maybe these are like your hot leads, people you need to follow up with. So you've got reoccurring emails for them every single Wednesday. And week one, maybe you use our template of the nine word email. Week two is a personal follow up. Week three is a client success story, etc, etc. Okay, pop that in there. And what else are we missing here? Maybe you do a blog post every single Thursday. So we'll write blog post and we'll get that open, sign it. Don't forget to add a tag because we like to color code things. And maybe you do week one blog is last week's email expanded. Week two is a podcast transcript that you have already. You can really try to repurpose things here. If you are doing the one in five method from the visionary method, you would look at something like a blog post and say, okay, so I'm creating a unique piece of content once per month. How can I distribute that in five different ways? So perhaps the week for social media content is all based on this blog post, okay? Make sure you're trying to repurpose. You can add things in like partnerships. You can add things like maybe you want to do a giveaway each month or a scholarship into your program. I also love to add things like one-on-one follow-ups plus engagement because that's marketing too, right? So this would be something that happens every single Thursday. So we're going to get that to repeat. And this should have the tag of outreach because outreach is marketing. So we're going to create a tag there and pop that in our calendar. So maybe the description is connect with five new people and follow up with five leads, okay? Then that's it. You're going to have your calendar. You're going to check things off as you're done. They're all going to hopefully disappear. And if they're set as reoccurring tasks, they will then pop up in next week. So you can take a break, maybe take your weekend off. And then next week when you log in, you know exactly what you need to do. So go ahead, set it up, and let us know if you have any troubles.
