Speaker 1: Okay, so welcome. I wanted to show you a powerful tool that I use for managing my onboarding. So I use Trello, and with Trello, I am able to create boards of everyone coming in to follow. And right now I am making some changes and I just implemented this and it is working very, very well. So each member that comes in will just go through each tab and they will read it. They'll have access to documents for their onboarding. Okay, and also lets my managers know how to onboard each new member with our team. So after each department goes through the column, then they will go through their department. So we have the front desk, we have housekeeping, house men, and maintenance, maintenance, breakfast, of course, and maintenance. Maintenance, I don't have much on there because I work with my maintenance in my Asana, which is more task-oriented than on here. Since I have two maintenance team members, I am with them all the time. But with training, especially the front desk, it's a lot of training because again, front desk is the department that is gonna bring in the revenue. They are the gatekeeper. They are the one that no one could get past if they don't have the funds. So they are very important in what brings in the revenue. And of course, housekeeping as well. We have quick overview, room descriptions, and of course, the human trafficking in Spanish. I am working on trying to get all of this in Spanish for my housekeeping team. So an example would be, let's go over checklist. Now with the checklist, you know, I was having a problem with my property because we had so many checklists that as management, we knew where they were and we have access to them. And at times when we're training someone new, you might come through finding that you have a problem with, hmm, I wonder if they got this checklist. I wonder if they got that checklist. And sometimes when you bring in new people, they're like, oh, I don't know, I don't remember. So this is gonna cut down the confusion. It's gonna speed up time. Of course, we still have to print out some checklists, but at least they're being exposed while they're being trained. After when we sit with them to go over the checklist, what will require, you know, what we need them to do to understand and to know that when they're coming on board with us, they have access to the Trello and anytime during their employment with us, they will have access and there's no more excuses because they've been given access. We sat down with them. We printed them out if they need them. They know where to print them out and we will function as a property. No more chasing people, asking if they have it, very disorganized, like that drives me nuts. So this is why I came up with this. So the management will go through. So I'm not wondering, did they go over it with them as an operator? Did my management go over these with them? One might be like, well, I thought that she did that or I thought they did that. No, you're the manager. Did you go? So now I don't even have to question that no more because this is a criteria as management. When we bring in new people, you are to go over this board. Each document one at a time. There's no question in mind no more when you have it this way because it's just follow the card. These are called card, just follow them. Front desk and as we continue to operate and understand, see this one is blank because I wasn't sure if I was gonna add anything in here, but just go through each of them. Talking about scammers, talking about when to entering the guest, entering rooms if the agent is by themselves, how to charge. Just things that it's tailored to our property. Things that we're having issues with, things that it's just a repeated, repeated item that we just needed just reinforced and same thing with the housekeeping team. So I hope you enjoyed this video.
