Speaker 1: Hey guys, my name is Harrison with Design Pickle. Today I'm going to show you how to set up a Monday.com Zapier integration. The reason why we would do this is, now let's say you get tired of having to input all your information here in Monday.com once, and you have to come over to Design Pickle, do it all over again in the Design Pickle platform, let's just do it the one time, make it quick and easy. Let's just hop into things and get right to it. First thing we want to do is, I guess, create our request, right? Right here in Monday, we're going to title our request, right here we just have a little sample test request name. Here where it says size, go ahead and add your dimensions, body, whatever you want your designer to do. In this case, we're going to have a poster designed, we're going to have Harrison holding a Zapier balloon because Zapier makes us happier, I don't know, we're silly for whatever reason. So now that we know exactly what we want, let's get it sent over to Design Pickle. To do that, we're going to hop over to Zapier and this big orange button, create Zap. So first thing we're going to do is search for Monday.com. Once we have it, select it, and we're going to set up our trigger. Our first trigger is going to be any column value change in board, continue, and let's go ahead and connect to our Monday account. Our board ID, our board ID is dpmondayzaptest version 4.1, it's a mouthful. And let's test it out. All right, so now that we've tested, we see that we have everything that we want. If we compare this information here on our payload to what we have here in Monday, we'll notice that everything is exactly the same. So we can hop back over to Zapier and continue. And this part is going to be a bit of a curve ball. Instead of going to Design Pickle directly, we're going to go right back to Monday. The reason for that is we actually need to collect those same column values. So let's go ahead and do that. Let's go to column values, continue. And all over again, let's connect to Monday again. And we're just going to focus on the required fields. So our board ID is still version 4.1. Our item ID is zaptest version 4.1. This we can go ahead and ignore. That's just letting us know that we didn't fill out one of the fields that didn't have required next to it. So that's okay. Test it. We get another green check mark. We are good to move on. The last thing we need to do is finally connect to Design Pickle. And we're going to create our request now. So continue. Connect to your Design Pickle account. I'm already logged into Design Pickle, but for you guys, if you haven't done it before, a little pop-up will appear here asking you to connect your API. To do that, all you need to do is come here to your profile settings, copy this API key and paste it in the little pop-up that appeared. That's it. Since I've already set up, I'm good to go. We can disconnect it. Continue. And again, we're just going to focus on the required fields. So for subject, we're going to get our column values from Monday, which is what we did here in this second step. And we are going to do name. Ah, no, that's not what we want. What we want. All right. So now, again, we're just going to focus here on the required fields. So subject, we're going to get our column values from Monday, and it's going to be name. It's going to be our test request, right? Perfect, perfect. Details. Get column values one more time. And there's Harrison holding a Zapier balloon. Size, let us connect our size, and we are good to go. Let's go ahead and continue. We don't have any other required fields to focus on. Continue. Cross our fingers. Give a little prayer. We don't really need it, but we'll give one anyway. Test and continue. Perfect. Let's hop over to Design Pickle. Make sure everything came through the way we wanted it to. Let's check our requests. And I can go ahead and filter by who it was submitted by. Yours truly. The guy holding the Zapier balloon.
