Speaker 1: A successful recruitment process is essential for building a strong and talented team. In today's competitive job market, organizations understand the importance of having a structured and efficient recruitment process. To achieve this, many companies rely on ATS. This is to streamline their hiring process. I have met many HR professionals who have experienced the benefit of implementing the ATS in their organization. Hiring the right talent can be challenging, but with the help of ATS, their job has become much easier. Let's explore the typical data-driven recruitment process that organizations follow using an ATS. In the recruitment process, the process starts with the workforce planning. So their complete staffing plan is made here across all the departments. All the departments who are having staffing requirements, they will be providing details to the human resource department or the recruitment department. Recruitment department will do the budgeting for this and based on the budget, they will have a plan ready for the recruitment for entire year. You will get to know how many people will be hiring in this year, what will be their designations, what will be their role, what will be the job descriptions and what will be the skills required, which will help you to publish the job or post the job. So next step in this recruitment process is called job posting. In job posting, you will take the source data from the workforce planning, where you will have the job descriptions, skills required, qualification and experience required and so on. So you might be publishing these jobs to the newspaper, you might be publishing on the website or LinkedIn or different job portals. When the interested candidates will see this job posting, they will start applying for the jobs and once they apply for the job, you will get the candidate application. Once the candidate will send their application, so you will have a complete application tracking where you will do the shortlisting of the candidate, you will understand the qualification and experience and skills. Based on this, you might select candidate and once you select the candidate, you will start the next step, which is called the interview and assessment. In this step, you might go through different written exam, do different round of interview, different types of interview. So interviewers will conduct the interviews here, you will get the interview feedback from the person who is taking the interview and once the interview process is completed and you are satisfied with the candidate, the next step will be to provide the candidate a job offer. ATS provides you facility to prepare the job offer through the predefined templates and through the predefined terms and conditions, the job offer will be sent to the candidate. Once candidate will accept the job offer, next step in this process will be onboarding. With the onboarding, the recruitment process will be completed. This is a six step process, which most of the ATS are following.
