What is the best CRM for law firm owners? I want to preface this with a conversation I was having with ... There was this young lady who reached out to me on Instagram. She is a pretty new lawyer up in Canada. She was watching my videos and things like that, and she wanted to pick my brain. She caught me out of time when I had a couple minutes, so I was like, let's talk right now. She called and we were talking about this stuff, and she was asking me about CRMs, and she was asking me about the procedural aspects of running a law firm and stuff like that. I just kept telling her what I'm going to tell you today. What's the best CRM for your law firm? The answer is whatever you want. It doesn't matter. Spend zero time on your CRM. Pick one and move forward. What does matter, what you need to focus all of your energy on, particularly if you're new, particularly if you're struggling, is how are you going to get clients? That is all that matters. If you cannot get your phone to ring, if you cannot get people to say yes to you, you have no business. It doesn't matter what your CRM is. It doesn't matter what software you use to do anything. It doesn't matter what your office space looks like. None of it matters. Zero. You need to get clients. I think really close, there's still another day left, to my best week ever as a law firm owner this week. The reason that I was able to have my best week ever is because I had a tremendous number of potential client meetings. The reason I had a tremendous number of potential client meetings is because I focus a lot on getting new clients. Yes, I focus a lot on the other stuff too, but at the beginning, when I'm struggling, when things are slow, I don't think about CRMs. I think about how to get clients. Now, how do you do that? It's pretty straightforward. You start making some videos like this, a very specific strategic format, a very specific strategic way of distributing this content, but if you do it, it will work. Google ads, Facebook ads, networking, direct mail, all of the things that you know about are ways that you get clients, but you never spend any time on them because they don't feel fun. You keep getting rejected, but that is how you win. The answer to what is the best CRM for law firm owners is whatever CRM you want. I think I use ActiveCampaign and it's great. It works just like all the other ones. There's no bells and whistles. It's not set up for law firm owners and it's great, but it doesn't matter what you use. Go get clients. Focus on getting clients. Focus on showing up every day and doing the work that you need to do to get to where you want to go. Have a good vision so you know where you want to go and win every day. All right. That's it.
