Speaker 1: There are people online who are earning an extra $2,800 in a single month alone just doing these jobs that are pretty much just typing jobs. If you're tired of watching all these make money online videos that over promise and under deliver and you just want a real transcription job where you can earn money just by typing, stay tuned because we're talking about some of the top transcription job sites that you can sign up for today. There are some sites that will pay terribly and some that pay excellently and I've gone through the hassle of finding out which ones are which for you guys. So if you want to avoid garbage websites, watch this video and stick around until the end because the last video on this list is one that pays the highest I've seen by far. This video is sponsored by Notion. More on that later. For those of you who don't know how the transcription business works, there's pretty much these companies out here that need transcriptions for the audio or video that they have and they're willing to pay good money to someone out here who's willing to transcribe their stuff without any errors. And so what they'll do is that they'll give this money over to these transcription companies but then in turn, the transcription companies, they're going to take this money and they're going to take their own cut and this is the money that actually gets paid out to true transcriptionists who look over the audio or video, transcribe it, type it up, and then it gets sent back through the pipeline, through to the transcription company, and then through to the company that wanted the transcriptions in the first place, which leaves you with your hard-earned money right here. If you're looking for a way to earn some money online by transcribing audio files, Transcribe.me is a side hustle that you should definitely consider. Transcribe.me claims to be the gold standard in audio and video transcription, which is pretty much implying that they think that they're the world's best online transcription service, but how true is that? Well, let's see from the perspective of actually being a freelancer working transcription jobs for these guys. Instead of viewing the main page, we actually want to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and you see this become a freelancer button right over here, click on that, and you should be brought to their freelancer page, which shows that Transcribe.me is actually a platform that connects freelance transcribers with clients who need transcripts for various types of audio or video, and the great thing with this kind of work is that you can work from home, from anywhere in the world, at any time, and you can choose the projects that interest you. Additionally, if we actually scroll down over here, we can see that the rate for pay is around $15 to $22 per audio hour, depending on the quality and difficulty of the audio. And additionally, we can see that people can make around $250 on average monthly. However, Transcribe.me is definitely not for everyone. This side hustle, specifically on this website, can be challenging and stressful sometimes, especially if you're new to transcription or if you have high expectations. You're going to need a good ear, a fast typing speed, and a keen attention to detail. And another con is that you actually have to follow and use their strict formatting and style guidelines, which can often be confusing and inconsistent. And there's actually reports out there that the quality of audio on Transcribe.me can vary a lot, and sometimes you might encounter low quality or even inaudible files that are really hard to transcribe. In fact, this guy right here online said that the audio quality can get so bad that you'll develop really good active listening skills. This guy knows how to think glass half full over here. Overall, Transcribe.me is a pretty good option for someone who wants to make some extra money online, especially on the side just by transcribing audio files. But it's not going to be for someone who wants to make a full-time living from it. Some people love it, some people hate it. It's kind of a gamble, but it can be fun if you don't take it too seriously. Because of all of that, I'm going to give it a 2 out of 10 on the scale of if you should try it out or not. The next side hustle typing site on this list is great because it requires zero commitment at all. So this would be great for my ex-girlfriend. Just a joke guys. This is going to be a transcription job site that you can occasionally use for some small tasks. It's less of an online job at home, and it's more of a place to get some quick cash or just some practice with transcription. And this website is called Scribby. Scribby is a platform that provides transcription services for short audio files, usually less than 10 minutes long. And that's the whole gimmick. They have a variety of projects to choose from, such as phone calls, interviews, podcasts, and more. And you can work as much or as little as you want and set your own hours. The really interesting thing is that they also provide automated transcripts. This is crazy. And these automated transcripts, they're being given to you guys, the transcriptionists. And that means that your transcription jobs are going to be so much faster on this platform because you'll have to do much less manual typing. They'll give you an automated transcript and all you have to do is go in and make the fixes or fill in the gaps that are harder to hear for automated AI. Scribby also pays per audio minute as well, similarly to other platforms. And the pay rate depends on the difficulty and quality of the audio file. With their platform, you can earn all the way up to $800 a month if you work eight hours a day working intermediate transcription jobs, or $1,600 a month if you're advanced. That's pretty good money if you just need some extra cash or you want to improve your skills with an easy to access side hustle. Scribby does pay daily via PayPal and you need to pass a test before you start working. For convenience purposes, I'll give it an eight out of 10. But for earning potential, I'm going to give it a four out of 10. The third site on our list is called HappyScribe. And HappyScribe is a platform that offers both manual and automated transcription services for clients from a bunch of different industries and sectors. They actually already have a large pool of transcriptionists who work on different projects such as legal transcripts, medical transcripts, academic transcripts, and so much more. HappyScribe also pays per audio minute and the pay rate will depend on the turnaround time and the quality level of the project. We're looking at around $1 USD per audio minute transcribed, which is already the highest we've seen so far out of the other side hustle typing jobs. Now that's not bad at all, but there's some other cons that you should consider. Like I mentioned earlier, HappyScribe also does provide automatic transcription services to companies out there that just want AI generated transcripts. These are cheaper and faster than human generated ones, but they are less accurate as well. This does mean, however, that some of the work that you could have done as a transcriptionist on this platform might be taken up by a machine instead. And this reduces the total amount of work available to you and likely also lowers the amount of total earnings that you'll be able to make monthly with HappyScribe. This is one of those transcription job sites that has a pretty mixed reputation among transcriptionists who work their online jobs at home. Some people love it, some people maybe not so much. If you do decide to join them, however, you will get paid bi-weekly to your bank and on average you'll be earning around 450 euros all the way up to 3,000 euros as a top earner. So if you're looking for a transcription job online from home that is reliable and consistent, HappyScribe might not be the best option for you. Along with all my other reasons and primarily because you're going to be competing with AI generated transcripts on this platform, I give it a 5 out of 10. Not a bad way to make money online just doing typing jobs. And speaking about typing, one of the best ways to declutter your thoughts is to write stuff down. That's why for my whole life, I've been on the long search to find the best note-taking app. I used to use OneNote, but it left me feeling overwhelmed and disorganized. And then I discovered Notion and it's been a game changer for me. I can share important information with my team and keep everyone on the same page. For example, I can actually track the status of my videos in the production process and share it with my editors for seamless collaboration. They can see what videos I've finished recording and are ready for the first edit. And then whenever they're finished with the first edit, they can move it down the pipeline to the review section where I'll review it. But that's not all. Notion also has AI features that can help streamline your workflow like no other app. For example, it can take this video that I have that's in research and I can automatically make an AI generated summary for me. I can even ask Notion to look through my research notes for me and create action items for me to do relating to these notes. And the great thing is that Notion Projects is completely free to use. And if you want to upgrade to unlock more of those AI features, it's only $10 a month. If you want to check it out for yourself and get more organized, get started with Notion Projects for free using my link in the description below. Now let's get back to the video. Folks, you are not going to want to miss out on this next one. This fourth side hustle typing job site on our list is one that is professional, 100% human generated, and has no chance of your job being taken by AI. And it's called Go Transcript. Go Transcript is a transcription service that provides high quality transcripts for clients from various fields and domains, such as education, media, entertainment, government, and more. And similarly to a lot of these other websites, Go Transcript pays per audio minute. And the pay rate is around $0.60 per audio minute, depending on the difficulty and urgency of the project. So it is projected that you're going to be earning less than the previous transcription job on our list. And the average earnings per month are around $150, all the way up to $1,200, depending on how much you work. And these guys pay every week via PayPal. So that's not bad money for a simple side hustle that you can work from home. And you're going to be able to preview jobs before you choose them, so you can decide if they're worth it or not. Fortunately, similarly to some of these other side hustle sites, you're going to be able to choose your own schedule and your workload and work as much or as little as you want. From some of the reviews online, it can be shown that Go Transcript is actually one of the better transcription sites online that pays reasonably well, has flexible schedules, and has good reviews from other people. So it's a pretty good site to join if you're looking for a transcription job online from home that is professional and reliable. I personally wouldn't recommend it as a full-time work from home job, but rather I'd use it as a supplement to working other online transcription jobs as well. I give it a 6 out of 10. Are you guys starting to get bored of only transcription sites? Well, this next side hustle might be for you. The fifth site on this list is called Textbroker. Now Textbroker isn't exactly a transcription site, but rather it's a side hustle and online typing job that you can do from home with no experience. I just wanted to include a few of these other kinds of online jobs to help kind of spice it up a little bit. This is a platform that connects writers to clients who need content for their websites, blogs, social media, businesses, or whatever. And they have a variety of projects to choose from, such as articles, reviews, and more. And fortunately, similarly to some of the other websites on here, you're going to be able to work as much or as little as you want and set your own hours. Textbroker also pays per word, and the pay rate depends on your rating and the quality level of the project. And the average pay rate can be around 1.1 cents per word to 5.5 cents per word, which means you can earn anywhere from $10 to $50 per 1,000 words. Textbroker also pays out weekly via PayPal as long as you meet a $10 threshold. And like some of these other websites out here, you are going to need to pass a test before you can start working with them. Just be cautious about typing jobs just like these, especially with the new AI software that's out, like ChatGPT, there's a chance that these kinds of jobs may be less and less available in the future. But if you are looking for an online at-home job that involves typing and writing creatively, you might want to give this a shot. 6 out of 10. Now, if you want to earn more and you want to learn how to make money online in a more serious way, you don't want to miss out on this next transcription job site. The sixth site on this list is one that is for serious and dedicated transcriptionists who want to do it full time. And this site is called Allegious Transcription. And Allegious Transcription is a platform that provides transcription services for clients in the legal and insurance industries. And they have a variety of projects to choose from, such as depositions, hearings, interviews, and more. With this job, you're going to be able to type up as much or as little as you want, but you do need to commit to at least a certain number of pages to work per week as a minimum quota. Allegious Transcription pays per page, and the pay rate depends on the type and length of the project. The average pay rate is around $1.50 per page, and I've seen reports that the pay rate can actually go all the way up to $4 per page that you transcribe, which means that you can earn about $150 per 100 pages, or all the way up to $400 per 100 pages that you transcribe. Now, that's not bad at all, but there are some roadblocks to consider. Allegious Transcription has very high standards and expectations from their transcriptionists. After all, you are doing legal or insurance work, so that means that you're going to need to have excellent typing skills, grammar skills, and formatting skills. Additionally, you're going to need to pass a pretty rigorous test before you can even start working, and you need to maintain a high accuracy and quality level throughout your work. So if you're looking for a transcription job online from home that is easy and casual, Allegious Transcription is not going to be one for you. You're going to need to be serious and dedicated in order to do this job. But if you are up for something serious though, get ready to make money online in a serious way. 8 out of 10. Now, the next side hustle on our list is going to be another one that is much less of an online job, and it has even less to do with transcription jobs as well. Just to spice it up, if you want to make some extra cash simply by typing up and sharing your opinions on various topics, products, or services, and typing up responses to questionnaires, this one might be a great option for you. You're going to be pretty much taking online surveys that are short and easy questions that you can answer from your phone or your computer whenever you have some free time. And you're going to earn points for every survey you complete, so you can redeem them for cash through PayPal. The side hustle site I'm talking about is Branded Surveys, and this site rewards you for typing up your opinion to things. You can join this site for free and answer a few simple questions about yourself so they can match your profile to a variety of their surveys that they have. There's also a bunch of other ways to earn with these guys, like joining daily challenges, goals, product and service offerings, and other stuff to earn more points and bonuses too. Something that kind of blew my mind is that Branded Surveys has over 70,000 positive reviews on Trustpilot from users who are making money with it. That's a pretty good profile. Of course, doing surveys online isn't going to make you rich, but if you want something convenient and quick, try it out for yourself and see what you think. Six out of ten. Now the last site on our list is one I'm really excited about, and it's the one that pays the highest that I've seen by far, and it's called 3Play Media. Like a lot of these other websites, 3Play Media is a platform that provides transcription, captioning, and translation services for clients from various fields and domains. What people need, they offer it. Audio descriptions, live captionings, translations, and so much more. Similarly to a lot of other serious transcription sites, 3Play Media pays per audio minute, and the pay rate depends on the project and the service. And a really awesome thing is that they even highlight themselves that, on average, 3Play Media pays their contractors three to four times more than other transcription companies. People online have said that they can earn anywhere from $10 to $20 per hour just doing transcription jobs for them depending on the project. That's not bad at all, but there are some other important notes to consider. Similarly to Allegious Transcription and some of these other websites out here, because they do pay higher than other people, they also have higher standards and expectations from their transcriptionists. You are going to need those good typing skills and grammar skills like the other websites too. And 3Play Media has their own pretty rigorous tests before you can even start working. There is the possibility that if you do try to apply to 3Play Media, the standards might not be met and you might not get accepted into the platform. But overall, if you are looking for a transcription job site from home that pays well and has a lot of work from home jobs available, 3Play Media might be the one for you. You need to be skilled and experienced, or at least have the willingness to get more experience to do this transcription job, but you will be rewarded with a high pay rate and a flexible schedule. Because of all these reasons, I'll give it a 9 out of 10. Also, especially for these transcription jobs online from home that you can do with no experience, these transcription jobs are not always the highest paying online jobs at home, but they are certainly some of the most easily accessible to people who have no experience and people who have a bunch of free time on their hands. And I also want you to keep in mind that because these are real online jobs and side hustles, there's a chance that some of them may end up expiring and the positions may be filled up. And if that's the case, it's unfortunate that you might have found this video a little too late. But if you stay subscribed to my channel, I release new videos like these all the time with fresh typing jobs from home. Overall, these are pretty great ways to make some extra money online without any special skills or qualifications. Because all you need is a good internet connection, a computer, and an excited attitude. I hope you found a bunch of value in this video, and if you did, definitely consider leaving me a message down below in the comments. It helps a bunch with the algorithm. And if you want to see more stuff like this too, you should subscribe to my channel to stay updated. And with that said, my name's Ted, and let's get this bread.
