Speaker 1: If you're new to YouTube or even just making videos in general, having a setup that looks like you've been doing it for a while is totally possible and could be done for under $1,000. And that's why I'll be breaking down this very setup. And if you decide to take this setup out with you to vlog with, or if you want to level up your live streams or video conference calls, this setup has everything you'll need to be able to do that. So let's get into it. You got to just press record. Hey, what's up? It's so much Corey with Think Media. Now we'll be sure to post links down to everything that we mentioned down in the description below. And if you have any questions as we break down this setup, be sure to let me know down in the comments below. We'll do our best to answer those questions, but let's start off with audio and lighting. Audio accounts for 50% of the video viewing experience and lighting will make any camera you use, even a smartphone, look better than what it actually is. So let's talk about some audio options. The first option is going to run you about $130 and it has a Deity D4 Mini as a mic that has a boom arm that's clamped onto my desk. And then I have an aux cable that runs directly into the camera. And I love the way this sounds and I love how I have free hands. Now, the second option is going to cost you about $140, but it's actually going to give you a wireless solution, which a lot of people may want because of its convenience of not having any wires and things going on. Regardless of what option you go with when it comes to audio, you're going to be left with about $860 for the rest of this setup. But the next thing I want to level up is our light. The light that I want to recommend is one by the sponsor of this video, which is GVM. And I've been using their lights for well over two years and they provide some of the best products at the best prices. They actually let us create this light kit that I thought would be perfect for beginners that comes with everything you need for under $200. And you're going to get the light itself, the stand and a soft box, which produces a large soft light on your face, even though the light itself has a very small footprint. Some cool features about the SD80S is that it can be battery powered, which could be super convenient if maybe you film in the kitchen or maybe you want to film outside, but not having to plug in this light. This light is bi-colored with a range of 2,700 up to 7,500, but I like keeping it at 5,600 if you're going to use it to light your face. You can also control this light wirelessly with the GVM app on your phone, which makes it super fun to use because you can turn it off and on or change any settings that you'd like to. This light also has a universal Bowens mount, so you can change the soft box if you want to maybe put a lantern or something else, even if it's third party. But the price of this light kit is just $199. And honestly, it's probably the only light you'll ever need to buy to light your face if you're doing talking head videos like this or even live streams. And what's awesome is if you actually use the special link down in the description to purchase this light, you'll get 10% off and use Think Media to get 10% off this light kit. But thank you GVM for sponsoring this video. So now that we have gotten our audio and our lighting all dialed and ready to go, we have about $680 left to spend on a camera and potentially a tripod and everything else you'll need with a camera because the camera itself won't be enough. However, there are two cameras that I really wanted to kind of let you know about. The first one is the Sony ZV-1F. This is a $500 camera at retail, which is a great price point for a 4K camera that will get the job done. However, the downside is this camera has a fixed focal length. And so you can't really do much with what it has. If you're willing to spend a little bit more money, I would actually get the Sony ZV-1, which is what I'm using right now. And a lot of times this camera actually can retail for $648 if you catch it at a good time. But also you can buy this camera used a lot of the times for around 500 and something dollars, which gives you the extra money to be able to actually buy the other accessories that you need, tripod and the SD card and the other things that I think you should buy with this camera. I'll be sure to post links down to in the description below because you can also use this camera to live stream with. I'm actually blown away at the results this setup produces with a good audio and light and this camera, and I think is a super great setup for beginners. But that is the $1,000 YouTube studio setup for beginners. And I think a lot of people can crush with this content and always remember that the content value is more important than the production value. So make sure your content is good, click or tap the screen and check out another video from us here at Think Media. Can't wait to see you in a future video. Peace.
