Speaker 1: Did you know that people retain 10% of what they hear, 20% of what they read, and 80% of what they see? Did you know that our eyes can register 36,000 visual messages per hour? Why all these fun facts for you? Well, since 93% of communication is visual, I had to make this video and share with you guys the power that visual marketing has in business. Hey everyone, it's Remy from HubSpot. Welcome back to the channel. Today, we're discussing the importance of visual marketing and you already know I have an awesome and free tool to make your life easier when creating your content. Continue watching to learn all about it and make sure to hit that subscribe button and click the notification bell to get notified when we upload. Visuals cause a faster and stronger reaction than words. How many times have you been scrolling through social media and you see a picture or video that made you laugh or cry or even get angry? Ooh, or my favorite, get hungry. Now, when it comes to business, visuals can be crucial in taking your brand to the next level. Whether you're trying to communicate information to the public or internally with your team, the way you package it up and deliver it matters if you want it to stick. Infographics are a great tool that can help you successfully deliver any message. In fact, businesses that use infographics see 12% more traffic growth online than businesses that don't use them. On social media platforms like Facebook, infographics get more engagement and increased likes by 200%. Pinterest is another one that infographics perform really well on, and for some businesses, it's even responsible for 40% of their sales. So how do you create an infographic? Well, it can be pretty time-consuming if you're starting from scratch or hiring designers to create them for you, but I have just what you need to create your own infographics in literally under an hour. Here at HubSpot, we created a tool that has 15 different infographic templates where you can just download and use the ones you like, plug in your information, and bam, you have an infographic. These infographic templates will help you present your information better and create a more interactive experience for your customers. Each template offers you a different design that can help you relay your message successfully depending on your target audience. Simply click Download, and then once you've identified who your audience is, pick a template that creates a story with your data. For example, if you wanna share the history of your company, you might wanna use the timeline template. If you wanna share stats or data about your business or products, the Data Geek template could be a great option to use since it has different graphs and charts that make reading data easier to digest. Another example is if you wanna share a before and after picture, then the side-by-side template would work better. If you want to see a more in-depth breakdown of how you can use each of these templates, then make sure to check out this video right here. And if you wanna get your hands on these 15 free templates, I'll have the link for them in the description box below, so make sure to check that out.

Speaker 1: So why are infographics so effective? Well, like I said, people remember 80% of what they see, and since the majority of us are visual learners, your business has a way better chance of being memorable if you use infographics. They also have a long shelf life. Depending on the topics you're sharing, you can reuse your infographics for months or even years. Any business can use these, but they're especially helpful for small businesses that are trying to communicate their company's story while still saving money. I hope this video was helpful. If you have any questions, make sure to leave them down below, and make sure to subscribe to the HubSpot channel for more content. Thank you guys so much for watching, and I'll see you next time. Bye. My stomach is growling. Oh my gosh, I'm gonna say that part one more time in case there was a growl in there. This is just going downhill real fast.
