And often when you sign up for these websites such as BabbleType and these other ones, they have a limited amount of work available. The transcripts we produce are mission critical parts of market research projects and completeness, accuracy and reliability are absolute requirements. So if you want to earn money through the website, as I told you here, does it pay $30 per hour? I will show you in a moment what other people are saying, but it's good to keep in mind that you need to be accurate with this kind of work. Our work requires a very high degree of skill in language, listening ability and ability to deal with more sophisticated transcript formats. And also I want to mention that it's more like a specialized transcription. BabbleType is a transcription company focused on the market research industry. They built a reputation for offering more specialized services than general transcription companies like TranscribeMe, the other company that I have reviewed. They specialized in taking audio recordings of focus groups and providing clear, clean transcripts of what was said. And for translators, BabbleType works in the following languages only Arabic, Chinese, Mandarin, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. So there is not, for example, my native language, which is Finnish. But I promise you that with BabbleType, your earning potential, it's much lower. It's much limited than by following this four step formula. And then you will start making money when you are sleeping. So as you have seen here, people are sending me money through my PayPal friends today, from my language blog and language videos. And these commissions come when I'm sleeping. So you can also make money. You only do the work once and then you will get paid for years and years to come. As I've shown you here in this video, sometimes it took some time. I published, for example, a video and it took maybe one year to get paid. But then I get paid every single month and it took maybe one day to do the work. And I get paid like more than $400, $500 for that one day of work. So I wanted to show you this option before I dive into BabbleType to show you that you can make money also while you are sleeping. And there are better ways to make money than BabbleType, if you are interested in making money online, of course. So let me show you, scroll down here and they say here, English language proofreading from English language formats, $0.13. So what does this $0.13 mean? You read here, information about current rates paid to contractors. So of course you are a contractor if you are making money with them. The following are BabbleType's current rates on per audio minute basis. So you will earn with this one, for example, $0.13 per audio minute. Rates vary by product type and level of difficulty. And English language proofreading from translated sources, $0.18 per minute. And now you might be wondering, what about hour? What about audio hour? Let's take a calculator and I will calculate for you. So let's take $0.18 times 60. That will make $10.80 per audio hour. So that definitely won't be $30 per hour because it's only for audio minute and it of course takes more time. So translation, Spanish and Portuguese translation, $1.30 per audio minute. All other languages, $1.40 per audio minute. So that's already more. Trans hour, I will show you how much this is per audio hour, so we'll get a better understanding. Translation into Excel type transcripts, question matching, $1.60 per minute, all languages. So now this is exciting. Let me calculate for you how much money per audio hour. We put $1.60 here times 60. That is $96 per audio hour. It takes three hours to do the transcript. Let's divide this by three to give you an example, $32 per hour. If you do it in three hours, of course, so it's possible. It's in theory at least possible to make that $30 per hour. So that's of course wonderful. But again, you need to keep in mind that some of these other things pay you less. That means that $30 per hour is more like an upper limit, but I will show you in a moment what other people who have been working for BabbleType are saying so you can understand more about their pay rates. So you can also read here, Spanish and Portuguese rates are lower because they are the most common languages. And as a result, competition has driven down pricing for these specific languages. So of course there is like, if there is not so much demand, then they can pay less because more and more people are willing to do that job for a lower price. So you simply fill out the application here, tell your country, tell your language, then do the quick test as they have explained to you in this previous video right here. And once you are ready with everything, then you accept the terms, everything. Then you click here, submit, and then they say here, thanks very much for taking time to apply, press submit to complete your application. And what will happen next you ask? We will receive your application and test in a few days. If you pass, we will contact you to discuss the next steps to join BabbleType list of approved contractors. Once you are approved, then you can start earning money. All right, so what are other people saying about working with BabbleType? Let me show you. First we have here indeed.com. Here people have worked for BabbleType by explaining their experiences. Another one is called Glassdoor.com. These are two huge websites. Employees go to these websites and they explain their experiences about the employer, all like how is the environment, how is the salary, how is everything. So you can see here overall rating on Indeed is 2.8 stars out of 5 based on 12 reviews. On Glassdoor.com you can see here the average rating is 2.6 stars out of 5 based on 55 reviews and only 42% would recommend it to a friend. Here are some pros and cons listed, I will show you in a moment, but I want to point out that nobody on Indeed.com gave actually 5 star review for this. Many gave 4 star review, some gave 1 star review. And here is actually something very recent one. February 2020, it is a company that works well with the people that fits in it. As they told you here, this doesn't fit everyone, it's only for some people. That's why they prepared this video, because it's specialized, again, it's not for everyone. BabbleType is a company that works well with transcribers. If you have a high typing speed, so you can type fast with your fingers, you can get through a lot of projects done in a day. The pros behind this job is that it's fully remote, so you can fully do this anywhere in the world. You can make money by doing what you love. If you love typing, first come first serve when it comes to projects. So of course, if you are not fast, you will not get these projects and you will not get paid. And some people say this company doesn't care about their workers. I worked for this company for around 6 months. There's no organization or respect for all contractors. I won't recommend this company. The manager was disrespectful and rude without a reason. That's what they say. And then there is also some older reviews. But let me show you the pros and cons, the most common things on Glastor. I love the ability to work from home and at my own pace. So out of 55 reviews, 13 people, so a big amount of people have said that they love this flexibility because they can work from home. They don't need to do the commuting and pay for transportation and all those things. Transcribers are totally in control of how much they do and when they choose to do it. So in other words, you can decide when you want to earn money and do the work. But on the other hand, there are some cons. With BabbleType, of course, there is a limited amount of work I want to add because if you follow the steps that you learn in my Ultimate Make Money Online Guide, you can do this as much as you want. There is no limit. If you want to work 10 hours a day, you can do it. If you want to work 30 hours a day, you can do it anytime. With BabbleType, you can only work when there are available projects. So that's the difference. And of course, the more you usually work, usually the more you earn also with this one. And often it grows exponentially as I showed you here. For example, Kyle started with $350 per month and then $1,100, $2,200 and later $6,500. So it usually grows exponentially. The cons with BabbleType are also that then update them on your progress every hour while you are working on the live interactive transcribing document. So you need to be responsible for somebody. You have a so-called boss there. Unlike with this Ultimate Make Money Online Guide, with these four steps, you don't have a boss. You can make money anytime you want. You are not responsible to anyone other than yourself. And of course, the government, some officials, that's of course, but that's with any work. But you don't have a boss. You can make money within your own pace. Nobody is going to ask you to work. You can make the money and that's in your responsibility. You have the full control and freedom. And check your minutes compared to the actual audio file as they will be likely short of the full file. So that is of course related to salary. Is it lower because of this? Maybe yes. All right. Some people say it's a great pay as we have discussed. It's possible to make up to $30 per hour if you are active with it and if you do the work well and fast, of course, and it's flexible hours and lots of help. There's nothing bad about the company. Everybody says like this, and this was the most recent one in April 2020. So that's very good. But some people, again, they say the same as indeed a company doesn't value seniority and is not loyal to employees. That's what they have experienced. That's their personal experience, what they say on this website. They have big clients. So you get to work on high ticket market research process where you transcribe and translate. High ticket means that you earn a lot. There is a lot of money. Low ticket is a low amount of money. They don't care about the quality. I gave them a lot of feedback and helped them design a new test for candidates, but still they don't bother about the quality. So that's, of course, one person's experience. It may be different if you ask from some other people. Some people say, in my opinion, this is one of the best ones, a decent place to start a career, but nothing more. I worked at BabbleType for more than three years, so actually quite long. They have a low entry threshold, so almost anybody can make money with it. So it's easy to get employed and earn money, and thus you can earn experience quickly. But there is unsteady workflow, as I told you, there is a limited amount of work available. Compensation is, in his opinion, poor and there are no benefits. Of course, if you are an independent contractor, you need to file taxes and do all those things. So it will eat some of your earnings, some of your profit. And of course, with some high-paying jobs, you could earn much more money, as you have seen on my YouTube channel, Learn to Make Honest Money Online. Some things have paid me even $3,000 in one day. Or here I show you the strategies to making $1,000 in a day online. So of course, those things pay more than, for example, BabbleType. And again, another person says that bad employer, stay away, not worthy. They say, I work at the BabbleType for more than a year, flexible and independent with ability to schedule your own time. So many, of course, say that this is wonderful. You can work anytime you want, you have freedom. But there is no consistency on how work is graded based on his experience. So they say here, pretty consistent that there is something wrong with the management based on these reviews. So this, of course, something alarming, in my opinion. That's why, for example, myself, I want to be my own boss. I want to have my own freedom. And that's why I do these four steps to make money online. And I also recommend these to other people who want the full freedom. You decide when to work, how much to earn money and what to do. You can do what you love.
