Our organization needed something done with 24 hour turnaround. This was the first time we had used a captioning service, and it wasn't clear on the website that there was an upload size limit. But once I called customer service, they explained alternate ways to send the large file and had it turned around ahead of schedule. Our deaf audience was appreciative to have captioning on our video!

I have used other software, or even relied on the transcriptions furnished by my web-conferencing apps, and have found that there is still a lot of editing to do after you get the raw transcription. I found that the quality of the GoTranscript transcription more than offset the relatively contained price that I paid. it was worth it to have a text that I had to do very little editing on, ultimately. I've already come back for another transcription job.
