How to Use GoTranscript’s Transcription Service

• 1. Upload Your Files

  Start by uploading your audio or video files directly to GoTranscript through the platform. Accepted formats include MP3, MP4, WAV, and many others. Simply drag and drop your files or select them from your computer.

• 2. Customize Your Order

  After uploading, you’ll be presented with an order form where you can choose your preferences:

  • Language: Select English or another language from the drop-down menu.

  • Text Format: Choose between "Clean Verbatim" (edited for clarity) or "Full Verbatim" (includes every sound and word).

  • Turnaround Time: Select how fast you need the transcription. Options include 6-12 hours, 1 day, 3 days (most popular), or 5 days, each with its respective price.

  • Number of Speakers: Indicate whether your file has 1-2 speakers or 3 and more.

  • Audio Quality: For low-quality audio or heavy accents, selecting "Yes" ensures the best outcome for a small additional cost.

  • Timestamping: Choose if you want timestamps added to the transcript.

• 3. Receive Your Transcript

  Once the transcription is complete, you’ll receive an email notification. You can download the transcript from the email or access it through your GoTranscript dashboard.
