+1 (831) 222-8398Speaker 1: All right, I want to show you this service that I'm using to transcribe my audio podcast. It's called HappyScribe, and I've tried just about every software out there for transcription, and most of them, the end results were pretty bad. It would be so much work to clean it up that it wasn't worthwhile for me to use it, so I never used it. So I started using HappyScribe, and I've been very happy with the results. And I still have to do a little cleanup afterwards, but nothing like it was with some of the other services out there. So I've been pretty happy, pun intended, with HappyScribe. So let me show you the process here. I'm logged into my dashboard, and I click on the uploading. You can drag your files here, or you can use Google Drive or whatever. I'm using Dropbox. So I'm going to go ahead and connect, and I go to my podcasts, and let's see, and I have over 120 of them, so I'm going to filter for what I'm looking for here. And here's the final upload MP3 file, which is the one I'm going to use. So I select that, and now it's uploading, as you can see, to HappyScribe. And here are the options now. I'm just doing the automatic transcription. It just uses an AI service. You do have the option of using a human, but I'm just using the automatic transcription. You're always going to get a better result by having a professional transcriber do it for you, but it gets pretty expensive when you're talking about a 30-, 40-, 50-minute file, a POP. So it gets a little expensive over 120 episodes. So I'm just doing the automatic transcription here, and you can build your vocabulary, which is pretty cool, and it helps. It speeds up the cleaning up process afterwards, and I'm going to leave that disabled, the autosubmit file, because I don't want to do that. So I'm going to click on transcribe, and that's it. As you can see, it's working. Usually it takes about, I don't know, 10, 15, 20 minutes. Here's the other one I did before already, and I'll show you what that looks like. And so here's the transcription here, as you can see. Pretty nifty, and it puts the timestamps, which is awesome, and you can play it from here. Yeah, you see, so here are the things that need to be memorized, my spelling of my last name. That's how you fix it. You just go in here, and if you need to clean it up, you clean it up. But believe me, the cleanup with HappyScribe is nothing compared to some of the other services I used, where it was just absolutely awful, and it wasn't worthwhile to go through it all. HappyScribe, I think I spent about maybe 20 minutes cleaning it up, and it was ready to go. And then once you're ready, you can download it, and you can download it as a text document, a PDF, Word, all these different things. I just use a text document, and then I just copy and paste it to my WordPress site. So anyway, so it's a pretty nifty service, as you can see. Go back over here, and now you can see it also provides you the status, so it's at 18%. So anyway, just wanted to show you HappyScribe. If you have a podcast, you're doing videos, this is a great way of, a good option of having transcripts that you can put on your website for more content.
